  1. good god, does wheels ever write their own material? that's almost word for word what autoblog had up on their site a couple of weeks ago.
  2. R&D at Nissan? Awesome... what's your specialty? Welcome to the forum. I thought the R33's were grey imports and R34's were the only official Nissan skylines sold in the UK?
  3. the best thing and most unique characteristic of a skyline is the red stove tops... tinting em black is like a stripper getting a boob job to reduce her bust size.
  4. dunno but they usually fill up in about 20-30 mins.
  5. its to increase the search engine referrals. google/yahoo optimisation to take us higher up in search results.
  6. Think I was there for the first one in the year... been out of town for last few so haven't had a chance. will be there for the one comin up, competing or not.
  7. really? the old C series stags look like houses compared to the M's. Altho the M does look way too much like a Volvo/Audi.
  8. *conveniently closes VIC members section to access from NSW memebrs when entries open* yeah listen to Sunshine Steve, save yourselves the humiliation
  9. DMD (one of the sponsors) carries the kit from memory. We've done a couple of R32 to R34 frontend swaps at Driftline but they were using custom made fenders that blended R32 rears with R34 fronts, R34 front bumper and support and R34 GTR bonnets.
  10. R33 AWD and R34 AWD was N/A only and conversely R32 GTS4's were turbo only. They came in auto and manual and 2 door and 4 door variants. Auto's are easier to find than manuals. R33 and R34's share gearboxes with stageas. Auto R32 GTS4 sedans were used to make R32 GT-B's by autech, which were limited edition R32's with RB26DE (N/A)... in commemoration of the oldschool Skyline GT-B's which were the predecessor tot he KPGC10 GTR in the 70's. 4 Door R33 GTS4 chassis' were used by autech and nismo to make special edition 4 door GTR's. That said, I don't think R33 and R34 4 door sedan GTS4's are eligible for import as they don't meet power to weight restrictions (too heavy and not enough power). Altho I'm sure some compliancers know ways of gettin them thru.
  11. in for gluttony
  12. lol the only decent wheel that they sell are the starcrap impuls, and eeeeeveryone has a set of those.
  13. I'd get the nismo one cos its worth the extra $20 or so. Then again for $50 you could get two standard ones, but then again you run a risk of wearing out your clutch cos of a sloppy fork if it snaps. I've noticed my twinner is a bit lighter than my old three puck HD as well... altho we did change the thrust bearing to an N14 pulsar one (slightly smaller in diameter) so I don't know how much that affected it.
  14. Poite... got the perfect wheels for you... esp as you have a silver R34. Rota P45R's. They're Nismo LMGT4 replicas. Perfect for that Z-Tune R34 look. Silver with bleck wheels = sex. Here's some 18's on an R32... ignore the nismo sticker: And being Rota fakies they're well under your budget.
  15. mmm hot sauce... nothing tastes good without hot sauce... especially KFC. *goes back to picking the cotton*
  16. think the genuine nissan replacement R32 GTR/R33 GTSt one was $22 or something including delivery to the workshop. The Nismo ones are $55 - $60 depending where you get em from (or $90 and 2 weeks wait from Nissan) and apparently 30% stronger. You only need the strengthened one if you're running a twin plate or a clutch which requires a lot of pressure.
  17. They're the same rear struts as any S14 240SX they have locally. The KYB Shock part number is 341222.
  18. http://www.gtrnissan.com Is naaaice!
  19. seam welding = welding the seams of separate metal pieces together.
  20. yeah I put a nismo one on mine as well, as my OS twinny broked the standard GTR one. box def needs to come off for it. old one: new one: Got it from JDM Concept, one of the sponsors on the forum.
  21. except A31 RB20's use a different consult port to the R32's. A31's run the older port... think the same as a CA.
  22. or a wheel and tyre package sponsored by centrelink and tempe tyres... oh NSW, where the vast majority of show and shine attendees are rocking Starcorp Impuls.
  23. wtf... you... gtfo 30? look at the pic... there's around 40 in that... and not a single hot pink car.
  24. haha I was tempted to try it at home, but I didn't have any beef mince on hand.
  25. R32 R33 R34 Don't really see much diff between the R33 and R34 other than the fact that the R33 GTR badge has a deeper bevel. Wouldn't wanna cast the R32 one as you'd have to colourmatch a part of it to the car it goes on.
