  2. That's fine mate, I look after the clubs mail so it's fun to get at least one piece lately! I'll update you when I get it, will be going to the post office before lunch
  3. Cmon Birds, you know you wanna join!
  4. Well done guys! Dave called me the other day, he seemed pretty damn happy with your efforts in a full street trimmed car! You've impressed me as well! Top work! You guys need a pit crew chief to drink your beers for you nextyear? Can't wait for the vid!
  5. Was it mailed or faxed? And what car/name/other details?
  6. Yeah mate I got your entry form!
  7. Except that the tyres are on offer ONLY to members of SAU:NSW
  8. I'm pretty sure Michael in his silver 32 GTR has no licence...
  9. That's pretty much my view on it, and it is indeed a great car! The car itself is pumping out just shy of 300kws if I remember correctly... I've driven with it on the road, and it was a shit load faster then my car, and only a touch slower then a purple R33 known as 'R33GTR'. Definately a nice clean vehicle
  10. bump for the weekend!
  11. there was a Bently Continental out the front of work with the numberplate '5' we had a decent discussion about which would be worth more
  12. Yeah I can get them, but only for SAU:NSW financial members
  13. quick sale, I have two other GT30 turbos and I only need one so this one is going for $750. It's the older series though, hence the low price. .60 A/R Very large rear (unceratin of what size exactly, but looks like it could make a tonne of power!) oil cooled ball bearing.
  14. Malcolm was around a lot longer before this thread was...
  15. Top work mate! I LOVE different builds like this!
  16. I received your $10 cheque and your entry form, passed it off to Duncan yesterday at the meeting! There will be plenty of parking for trailers and tow vehicles We will have a somewhat up to date list of entrants soon, but I would more then likely assume that if you have sent both your FORM and PAYMENT that you have entered. Even if we only have one, we will eventually chase up the other... but that's work so don't do that to us
  17. I agree with what half the people here are saying. I was looking at upgrading brakes, and I did. I did rotors, pads and fluid. My stopping power was MILES ahead of what it was previously. It was quite inexpensive too. I would start with slotted rotors and decent brake pads first, give that a try. Then, if it's still not enough, buy some GTR Brembos or something. Even a year after doing this mod, I was still under estimating my braking at the clubs motorkhana where we had a Go-To-Whoa. I stopped up short every single time...
  18. Seen this car around a few times... it always LOOKED like it could punch out the numbers! (at least the engine bay did! ) Glad to see it happened! Congrats!
  19. Judging by the things Nissan Aus did when the JDM models were coming in, I highly doubt they would let ANY of their specially trained GTR mechanics even TOUCH one...
  20. I made one of those once... mine was true to form though!
  21. Top stuff mate! Did you buy a GTR or a GTS-T? Would love to see some pictures of it Welcome to the forums!
  22. Nice gear White 35! Let us know how the swaybars go for you, hopefully it settles it in the corners like you were after I still think it could be a little bit lower, but that's asking a lot for a street car that's already pretty damn low from factory! Is Dave heading up this year? Spoke to him last week but he didn't mention it...
  23. my space saver is gooooooooone I have spare rims and tyres though for different events, so worst case I would leave the car where it is and go and get the spare rims and tools to jack the car up and put them on... Normally requires a friend or two as well... Hasn't happened yet but it wouldn't be that big of a deal for me...
  24. yeah you'd be surprised what will buff out... I had some tool slide across 3 lanes of traffic in the rain and into the front of my car (after taking out a mate infront of me), 90% of what looked like damage was just his paint... Give it a good clean, get some cut and polish stuff onto it (I use Meguirs) and see how that goes... worst case you can just get some rear pods that will cover it up... Link to pods and rear bar
  25. The commonwealth panel! yes I'm that bored
