  1. On e85 360 to 385rwkw When i had no oil cooler. Yeah i'd see 120c after about 2 to 3 hot laps. Even when i had a stock turbo and and stock engine bout 200rwkw it would hit 120 to 130 after a few laps
  2. Interesting re your water and oil temps Mines a rb25 neo with a 13row oil cooler? Street temps generally Water and oil 75 to 80c. Track 5 hot laps i think Water still around 80 to 90max. Oil around 105-110c max

  8. And given that his blown an engine due to massive restrictions on the hotside probably not a good idea to keep the GTX3076 with a dead power band above 5.8k Reading the BW thread doesnt sound like a 7670 fits stock position? You going highmount or something?
  9. you brought a borg warner? which one? Which hypergear turbo did u originally have? Why did u go from a gtx3076 which u thought was great to a gtx3582?

Yeah one weekend when your free ill drive yours and you can drive mine Pat doing his rebuild making me want to change turbos Thinking of EFR 7670 or a GTX Gen 2 3076 may be ideal Ill stalk and add you on FB and we can organise one day Yeah you would think that's what insurance is for. But if it was a close work mate yeah i'd just donate.
  11. What are your turbo/setup plans Greg? I would've really liked to drive your setup as is too see how laggy it is with a gtx3582 but too hard to compare it to a normal setup being an auto

  14. Apparently the thinkpad T series are durable? Perhaps the T460s. That was another one of my options. I got the x360 due to it being light, portable and touchscreen for client meetings. so probably different purposes to you.

  16. Hrmm i just bought a HP Spectre x360. Was between that the Lenovo x1 carbon and Dell xps 13. Went with HP with corporate rate 35% off and $250 cash back
  17. Fair enough, mines a FMIC cooler but with return piping that goes back under the car and then through the side via the stock location. I darno racepace said to clean up cooler piping for more powah. Ahh nice yeah looked like your previous setup was already sorted!

  19. Nice one, Im curious what sort of intercooler piping you had before hand, and if you noticed any difference in on road response/transient response from shorter cooler piping. I have thought about going FFP as mine is a return flow style piping, so would get rid of about 2m of unnecessary piping, and as you mentioned alot easier to work on the spark plugs at the track which i have done a few times...
  20. Small update So a few things. Need to fix the rear camber so ordered hard race rear camber arms. Also rear end bearings were gone so apparently it is easier to order a full HICAS delete kit: Over the next month will also do a custom cooler piping job and custom airpod box. May also do Sandown this month but not sure yet
  21. Can't you just use a 2.75 to 2.5 inch straight reducer? Thats what i did, just got it from VPW and use good norma seal constant tension hose clamps
