just for every1s info. I ran my GKtech Cooler close to 300rwkw...no problems at all basically getting as much power out of the car possible and runs fine all the time on the street. I have run it on 40 degree days...seems to be fine I have never noticed any major issues. If I was gonna run it on a track...might upgrade to a HKS or ARC and I was thinking of doing that one day...but i have upgraded everything else so its the last thing. So many people wanna run to 300+ few do...it costs money doods and as mentioned there are so many pieces to the puzzle to get it relaible and make it drivable. Get some good rims instead and make it look cool. But the GKTech for like 500...seems to go ok for most mild mods and I consider 250-280 mild...

keep that in mind for the not to distant future...

agreed now if I could just find the grill I want I would be set...its taken 4 months and still no luck..I will go custom soon.

GTR wing for me..just need some new bits for the side cos its says GTR but its not...kinda ghey...I will gets ome good side pannels things when i can find some...the CF versions are not cool IMO.

Hey mate German Castrol...where can I get some you reckon? I did my first UOA on my Redline in my FTO...not stella results but as expected as its the first run with the redline. I use the 5W30. I will do an oil chnage and run it again for 5k and sample it again. Si levels were a bit high....go to BITOG and have a look a thte results if u like.. I will get another kit and test the R33 which has been running 10W40 Redline for about 7000kms...I'm thinking of switching to the 5W30 in the R33 also...or even the GC if I could get it in both...depending on the price. But I think I will do some runs with both with the redline and see if after about 3 OCIs I can get some good results. KJ

I agree with geoff. I would have throught the more common kind of stress to be exerted on a hole in this area would be of a harmoic type from general vibrations etc. Although persoanlly I think you have more chance of hitting a pole than this hole causing your car to become unsafe.

I'm down...go to Airstream..much better coffee and food. I go there all the time. the 13th being a sat...ur might find it hard to get parking for many cars if u go late...it packs up down there on the weekends... But I'm down.. Fellow CCW goer.

no need for another FPR. just make sure u have a decent fuel pump and leave the injectors unless ur pushing the 300rwkw mark or driving it on the track.

and thats sounds a bit cheap just for the engine...not including all the other bits to need to be able to drive the damn thing. Suspesnion, wheels, tyres. this will amount (in my case) to another 6-7k. So far using the std bottom end, Like Als I'm pumping out the ~280rwkw mark. Thats new everything and would have cost about 15k I reckon for the engine upgrades (turbo/zorst/air & fuel bits etc). I was waiting until it threw a rod or somthing for the engine rebuild....can't wait..hehe

looks great mate...well done. as for heat from the lights...lol it would contribute sweet FA and only be an issue when the lights we ON... not withstanding...the amount of air comming in and the heat it would disipate through the plastic backing would amount to FA.

are we failing to realise one important point... facts will not win you the arguement when u get defected for this...give him a mok up model made from play-dough, color coordinate it and everything...even put little people in the cars - and the cop will still defect you if he wants to... Its then up to you to prove/fix..but its not going to stop it from happening until u have the paperwork to shut them up..You maybe be right, or wrong I dont really give a toss...its whats ok "within the rules" and making sure you apease the person who approves it.. i have made two custom setups...with a new 3" intake form the front bar, covers etc. I went back to stock..wacked in a trust high-flow filter and saw the same, if not better, dyno results. The sealed setup + pressure of the seal stock boxes make them hard to beat IMO. There have been numerous external tests which have showed without a sealed unit u are pretty much wasting ur time. After making numerous custom setups for both my cars...I now have stock airboxes...but beter ducting/intakes. Makes no "whoosh" noise, and 1 less defect for them to get me on in the future

essentially to get that look off a GTST you will need to spend a few K more on a fibreglass bonnet (cheapest) new 400R front bar and sides...I think they are 400R sides, cant remember. This doesn't include whats going on on the back...spolier, rear bar and pods. I guess the parts would cost you around 2k (roughly) then fitting and sprey...maybe another 1.5k... Then u need some wheels...dunno 2k? plus rubber 1k Lowered springs..not to much, but u need them fitted...maybe 700 all up.. So I guess ur point is u wanna buy this done already...cost to get a stockie looking like that u will need at least 7k (on a gernal guess) not including any engine mods..

yeah I reckon if I was doing it again I would get the NISMOs...but as I got mine for free, including install etc I went was the Sards...and eys the plugs needed changing also.. They work fine once the o-ring issue was sorted out...dunno if they just gave me the wrong ones...kinda ghey for 600 dollars.
