  1. yeah soory, should said i was sorta referring in general to the flow of the exhaust, not allowing for blockages
  2. its becuase of the BOV, it releases all the air thats gone thorugh the AFM and teh ECU overfuels the motor. did you just put the atmo BOV on too? or did you make your stock one atmo?

  5. if you think supras are ugly, your opinion doesnt matter lol jk and i cant see a GT30 being bolt on to the standard supra manifolds, do they use an adapter manifold from the two factory flanges to a T3 flange? and how do they go about killing the factory sequential setup, electronic or permanent?
  6. well i asked Kyle (6boost) and he does says you cant do them by hand, you need a mill with an indexing head at the least.... i still plan on attempting it in some way, dunno how you would get it into a bandsaw though Craved?
  7. so you've put in a stock RB26 with N1s which are pretty close to stock, and your complaining that it feels stock? N1's are the factory steel wheeled turbos from memory, so yes you can run alot more boost when you get the injectors/tune
  8. ^ dont think it would be an issue if your 100% sure its not springs, and it doesnt sound like it if the problem was still there at 10 pound, i would be looking at the tune, get a pic up of the ignition map if you can

  12. ^ i call bs. cant use compression test results to determine CR anyway what valve springs are you running? might be starting to float PS - have you got an pics of your ingnition timing maps? or any idea how much timing is in it at the top end? PPS - turn the boost down as low as it will go and do another run (to check if its mechanical or tune) and keep turning the boost up till it starts to flatten out the graph again

  14. shouldnt u just round down to 2.9? only time i've seen capacity mentioned to 2 decimal places is on the old 6.75 bentley motors... anyway what turbos? are they custom pistons? what cams? spill motherfcuker!!
  15. im interested to know how you cut down the pipe, not across it if u get me, i think that might be what your talking baout mix200? the long cut that runs down the pipe that gives you a smooth merge between all the incoming pipes before the turbo flange?

  18. they may with some clever head work/manifolding im with SK on this one, i cant see it being RB30 based, i rkn RB26 block with a mix-n-match storker kit, with at least one of the 3 components being custom, most lilely pistons or rods. cams would be big, my guess would be around the 256/64 mark, a little smaller than what SK said but with a smooth 900rpm idle, even with the ebst tuning getting cams like that to idle at 900 would be a stretch (i think so anyway, i have nowhere near the experience of SK) i reckon all that low down power and torque is from manifolding and headwork, thats the 'secret' area. so is this gonna be revealed at all anyway, or are we just stabbing in the dark for no reason? c'mon.... at least give us a hint? tell us whose closest to the real deal? please......
  19. im a supra fan boy but to be fair, in that race the supra was on better tyres apperantly, the guy is talking about it in jap at the start, might be on semi slicks or something

  21. haha didnt see that one coming! anyway, check master/slave and also the clutch fork, and in particular the little ball thing it pivots on, that let go in mine a few months ago, one little bolt and i ended up getting new master/slave before i found it, point is look everything over first

  24. yeh and his 10.03 times, the 60ft was like 2.2 or something. that thing should be WELL into the 9's when its back, probly pushing 8's and guys... give his missus a break, she looks pretty sexy in those pics...

HA! lol jk i dont get the handling bit though, sure they arent bad.... if u like understeer, and for power.... not so good either, and they're more expensive than an equivelant model skyline GTSt/GTt of the same age..., and IMO dont look as good....., and you cant drift em real good.... but ummmm yeah.... they have 4 doors? thats a plus i guess?
