  1. AFM wont be an issue, motor should run without them plugged in at all (albeit rough)
  2. i think it definately has the potential to work but wouldnt bother with it
  3. if worse comes to worse, bolt on turb's + NOS and go for 8's lol
  4. how accurate are the locally made ones. i havent looked over all the things for the local one, but one reason the LC1 is a favourite is because its not just a cheap unit, but sensors/guages etc are cheap too
  5. whats the go with the welds? they look like TIG, did you just spot it with the mig for the entire run?
  6. yeah especially with things like clutches and short shifters seriously, only drama would be ECU, but even then its not a big deal. beyond that, when you start putting down more power, just getting the box built would be the main issue, again, not a real big deal, just a nuisance IMO as the box will need to be out of the car for a while, so if its your daily you gotta find the time
  7. traction levels would be completely different and there would be issues with wheelspin while measuring the distance/time
  8. theres another thread exactly the same with the same contents in the same sub-forum, but its still impressive lol
  9. VB-

    D1 R35

sydney kid, steering wheel mounted clutch control owuld never work, the steeringwheel spends too much spinning freely of the drivers hand, and they are constantly clutch kicking etc, mid corner while the wheel is spinning still
  10. i dunno if RE customs do custom pipework (i assume they do) but they do good work, go there. they're in springvale
  11. the 3.2 is going in the drag car from memory, 3 litre has no home yet
  12. norbie you've defected from SF, your a double agent now lol? from memory the fastest NA was some who used a VH45 and ran 12's while NA, then nitrous got him 11's, then 10's superchaged+NOS
  13. meh screw the rules lol SSV are one of the best around, Kamikaze are pretty good too avoid JSA at all costs!
  14. gas has been around for 12 years, its more than just joe that knows his stuff
  15. mission accomplished! anywho.... anyone seen the roadster version... im really not a fan of convertables at all but mmmmmmmmmmm
  16. my mate had one on his, i thought it sounded good? anyway batmbl on here sells em for like $450AU
  17. the entry level model is cheap, and your getting a brand new merc... thats cool
  18. thats probly more water injection than an engine running on water
  19. lol typical, notice the stubby sitting next to the car in the second pic
  20. turbo is more effecient than supercharger, hence you will get better economy
  21. 1-5-3-6-2-4 also backed up by my gregory's if it makes u feel better
  22. what computer? does it come with the motor?
  23. just to make things clear, i wasnt referring to the weight saving, but the aerodynamic improvement. i remember reading about a drag car in japan, it was fast, like in the 9sec bracket, and from memory it had an adjustable spoiler, not unlike the factory one, and when changing from full downforce, to none at all, made nearly 1 full second difference, so removing the stock one would make a difference, maybe not that much but its a free gain isnt it
  24. original poster said 435i, he didnt see an M4, i think it was just a creative title. the M series will stay the same, its only the 'normal' models that are copping the change AFAIK
  25. theres a chance it is, but my bet would be club name
