  4. krispy kreme is the work of teh devil... its so good but i just want more, kinda like heroin i suppose lol being a VL driver i can relate to wanting to rip 'nuts every now and then so i will give you a serious answer, how much fuel was in the tank, you probly starved the pick up when u flicked it around
  5. what makes a car appealing to me? the way it makes me feel when i drive it, if its ugly, slow, doesnt turn or stop well, sounds like ass, it doesnt matter, as long as i'm having fun. some of the best times i've had in cars were in absolute shitboxes, just things you can thrash without a care in the world thats another thing, something your not affraid to go hard in, by that i mean something your not scared of damaging/blowing up, i DO NOT mean something that gives you more confidence than ability. i see alot of people with nice cars, R34's, rex's, and they all drive like women (no offence ladies ) and i tell em, go just give it a bit around this corner here.... then im usually met with "no wtf are you stupid, have you got 30 grand to buy m a new car if i smash it blah blah blah" like they are really offended i said it. ahhh the joys of owning a minispooled VL..... it serves me well, and although it could do with an extra 100kw, its brakes, while technically they 'work', they dont do there job very well, handling rivalling that of the titanic.... post-iceberg, and its as ugly as sin with most of the paint peeling off, its something i can still have fun in
  6. woulndt be too big of an issue with heating the brake master etc if you do it right, look at how many supras are out there, how often do you hear about them having brake issues due to heat?
  7. BMW are changing their naming system, all the coupes now are one number higher (even numbers), just like the 6 series is actually a coupe version of the 5 but i have seen some 3 series coupes with 3 series badges (i think) so dunno wtf bmw are doing
  8. doubt it would be plugs, dunno about weather, could be, but take it to your tuner and he should be able to look over your A:F ratios, fuel and ignition maps etc and tell you if its a tuning problem, and might be able to tune it out. get in contact with the previous owner and see if they had similar issues in cold weather, might not have been fully tuned in the first place, might have just had a quick tune

  12. ask stocky, from memory he said it wasnt worth it. its alot of time and effort for not much results, just get a correctly sized turbo, and with the leftover cash go RB30DET that pic of the twin charge kit isnt fake either, i thought it was at first too because the pipin looks dodge, but i've got a pic of it from another angle, and from what i can tell its real the only thing with that is with the way the piping is (from what i can see) the system wouldnt work, as they are booth running in parallel not series, and there doesnt seem to be any sort of valving in line either, think they just threw it together to try and look good lol
  13. dont mean to sound rube but what difference does it make? your going to all that effort just buy a decent timing belt and its not an issue
  14. do it anyway, better having it then no lights at all, very unlikely you'd get done for it anyway, although i would hazard a guess as to say its illegal, because you have to turn it on, it should come on when the car is put into reverse so you dont have any issues forgetting it or whatever

  16. mate is getting this done atm to his R34, hes spending somewhere in the vicinity of 20 grand, but thats with turbo/fuel system/clutch etc
  17. i thought most harleys come here with shit little exhaust on em that get swapped out when they get sold, just like if you import a car with 3" exhaust and front mount, they take em off for compliance then throw em back on. i dare say most harley's on the road are illegal just nothing gets done about it

  19. sydneykid, what boost were you running to make 305rkw? and how were you having problems dropping off boost, the GT30 is a pretty small turbo. you woulda been at the upper limit of its effeciency range at 305rwkw wouldnt you?

  24. would just be the name of a car club, in japan there are millions of the freakin things, look at the street meets in japan when they go drifting, nearly every car has its back window completely covered (literally) in club stickers, and they arent big stickers either
