  1. for the guy with the 2535, you just need to adjust your bov, although your running the same boost, the 2535 will be feeding your motor cooler air, so there will physically be more air in the system, hence its fluttering now, same goes for you tek 01 with a front mount theres alot more air in there still when you back off, so thats why it will flutter now, just need to adjust your bov
  2. depends onw hen they were imported? they've used blue plates for the last couple of years, green before that as far as i know? unless the 32 was eligible for import 2 years ago?
  3. so are they making mre PFC's? i thought his being discontinued was for other reason, and it happened before the bankruptcy? heres my version of the bullsh*t: i have heard from several sources the NEC who make the boards for the PFC stopped making them or something? there are a couple of other reasons to which i cant remember right no

    Clearing A Defect

well i dunno, maybe the guy doin it isnt completely up to date or whatever, but we havent specifically organised a dodgy one. does anyone in this thread do roadworthies by any chance? maybe we could clear up some details. what is it baout pods exactly thats illeagle? i always thought if they were boxed it was ok, like that ARC one? provifing its a dry element filter etc...

    Clearing A Defect

anyone else also think this is better than tv? andru has organised a roadworthy, a legit one, we've (me and andrew) have asked the guy if a custom airbox will be legit and he told us it would be, as long as its boxed up. and whats with all the hostility? he can get it cleared with the custom air box, he doesnt want to modify the stock one, so let it go, it aint happening. the thread was about getting a custom one made up . JVP, you told him to use a custom one, he said it wasnt happening, you told him again to sue the stock one, with a smart arse attidutde ("custom omg carbon fibre" were your exact words i believe), then you have a tantrum when he retaliates in kind. R31 nismoid... off topic but didnt you get like 50% of the votes in that thread about who you hate most on SAU? not having a go at you, just couldnt find that thread and wanted an update
  8. dont lie, you keep it in your bed with you dont you... you like to hug it and keep it warm, or is that just me? (i wish i had a twin cam head..... stupid VL!)
  9. call up a phone company and see where that number is going to? the landline number he gave you, i'm sure someone could go pay him a visit....
  10. these things have been around for years, theres always some new engine design around, yet theres only 1 main design that we still use (i think rotaries are still in too smaller numbers to count) but none the less i still love reading about these things, and i think you hould find this somewhat interesting: MYT engine have a look around on this site, theres not as much info as i've seen elsewhere, but the basics are" 14 inches in diameter, and length, 150mpg in biodiesel, and somewhere in the vicinity of 850HP (cant remember exactly)
  11. ahahahh that one made me lol
  12. i own a VL, i know a few people that owns VN's, get the VL. the only time i wouldn't recomend a VL for a daily is if its a turbo that you are modifying also. VLT+mods=more time off the road than on it, literally....
  13. 12A/13B bridgeport ftw!
  14. videos!!
  15. my mums EA falcon shifter (auto) gets too hot on the actual steal part that comes up out of the box, and when i say too hot i mean you cant keep your hand on it (well maybe you can if your tough like me )
  16. lol in no way am i indicating he has, or should do anything illeagle... but i wonder if he knows/how hes gonna find out about the speed limiter... i'm sure it would be on a track....
  17. tighten up the BOV you got on there now? i know its plumback and shouldnt matter, but might be worth a try
  18. get in contact with the owner, you will most likely get a reply of: "i have moved over seas for work reasons and am no longer in the coutry..... 'insert story here' please send money via 'insert non-safe money transfer method here' and its all yours. i really need to get rid of it quick because i have already moved overseas... you are getting a bargain here!" also take note the car has ACT plates, and the car in the background looks to have NSW plates, but the contact details are in QLD....
  19. more importantly, does it dose?
  20. i think thats kind of the point, they've done 'only' 160k and its something to mention as an achivement alot of it depends on how you treat it to, personally, if i had a rotor, i'd just have to hit 10,00rpm.... daily. if i had a rotor, it would never last as long as the ones youve mentioned
  21. ahaha, fantastic R32 line! thats brilliant!
  22. yeah sorry, i meant like, why the 6 volt batteries, i've since read up and seen the benifits over the 12 batteries. would be alot mroe compact though with 12 12v batteries....
  23. i'm prety sure your wrong, the americans broke 6's a while ago and still hold the record at around 6.7, but i think that car was moving between USA and AUS or they built a similar one or something. oh and Rocco's RX7 was running high 8's with a rotor, he then f*cked it off for a 2jz, hes reset his personal best almost straight away i believe (8.5 last time i checked), and the motor was a stock non turbo bottome end, with a big ass turbo and methanol! god i love toyota....
