  8. i know a couple of guys that think like you two, they make a great couple
  9. 5k for built RB30 15k for built RB26, i know what i'd be doing note: price may not be 100% accurate, or even close for that matter... lol
  10. put the lighter lower down. gas is heavier than air so it will sit on the ground. havent you ever heard of people emptying gas bottles in there back yard, then the pilot light from a water heater ignites it and kaboom you dont have to mow the lawn for 3 weeks. you no longer have a fence... or house either lol

    20 Inch Rims

meh.... i would be impressed if they were 22's.... seriously though, you will need an engineers cert, or just chuck stockies back on, get it cleared, go home and replace with 20's. thats if you can get it cleared this way....
  16. welcome. i must say, a 180 with an RB25 back in 2000, would have been quite the rarity. how was the handling with more forward weight bias?
  17. buy a cheap hack. it will be cheaper and more fun than driftin a GTR. maybe not as fast/rewarding, but overall probly worth it
  18. but how would the dry sump scavenge from the bottom of an upside down piston thats moving? and for my earlier post, yes it might pull well from 4500-10000, but how often do you rev to 10 grand on the street? just like rotaries, severe lak of low down torque (again i would need to see a dyno graph, but this is my assumption)
  19. it makes peak power at 10700 rpm, and peak torque at 7200, this would be a dog on the street... well thats my guess without actuall seing a dyno graph
  20. i do like the idea of the engine, its compact, and would fit small cars nicely (ones with a short front end) but dont know about the balancing (i'm sure it could be worked out) and the manifolding. the exhaust/intake on that just seems wierd to me.... and exhaust manifold running up over the engine doesnt excite me.... that said, would be good to see one in an MX5 lol whose gonne be first to make an X engine? edit - forget the X, i actualyl thought about it and its not practical. lubing it would be a b1tch
  21. you jump 100rwkw in 200 rpm.... must be one hell of a time in the wet, even with the boost turned down, it still obviously comes on late and very hard... but then you get that with a GT3040....
  22. depends on who your with. just cars uses second hand parts i believe so should make it quicker. a mate of mine had an accident in a skyline and got his car back 6 weeks later. some pretty major (in my opinion) suspensin damage, no body work though.
  23. yeh i was driven the opposite way and saw the crack down along there. theres not much you can do about it i dont think, they just went nuts after the riots, you might just have to cop this one on the chin
