yeah, im just gonna keep on at him about this thing he has that says they never came from the factory like that. yeah i've never seen a GTR with a sunroof, i'm pretty sure they didnt, maybe thats what hes talking about, but he was telling me skylines in general never did, and he is as stubourn as all f*ck. so keep the posts coming, then we'll see what he says

thanks for the quick reply, and yeah, i've seen too many with sunroofs that all look the same, buts hes verys tubourn and claims to have proof. now im gonna harass him to show me it.

choosing the bore: more capacity = more power. also, it gives you scope for future rebuilds, like getting the 86.5 now, if you ned a rebuild later, you can bore it out to 87, not that this is a realistic thing IMO cooling channel, i have no idea, but im guessing its size depends on what piston bore you get, to maintain a certain thickness between it and the nearest cylender. might be a restrictor for the cooling system somewhere? might i ask how much this is costing you roughly, and why you didnt just get a local RB30 built up?

was just talking with a mate and he assured me that no skyline (R32-34) came from the factory with a sunroof, but this just didnt sound right to me, although i have nothing to back it up, he said he did somewhere. anyone care to give me a final answer?

sorry, i know its off topic, but are you allowed to give out any clues as to where your going next in terms of project cars? im a loyal fan of both zoom and HPI, so gimme the scoop

genuine are not worth the money IMO. i htink in most cases they will last a bit longer, because the cheap kits dont flex (alot of them do now though) so they crack with chassis flex, but in most cases, kits never get to the point where deterioration comes with age, most of the time they are smashed on gutters etc before that point no idea on those particular itmes, but i know with things like veilside kits, a full kit is about 12 grand, plus fitting and painting, where as a decent knockoff will come in at around 1.5k havent had ALOT of experience with kits, but this is just what i've seen

my dad bought a camira for $300, was auto ("ohh luxury" i hear you say....) didnt leak oil, never had a problem with it. that was his second one, first one was exactly the same, vener had problems, were both surprisingly reliable, didnt even leak oil

theres a place in sydney that sell a package for about 4k that will give you 300rwkw (manual) i believe it was an exhaust, hi flowed injectors, and a tune. cant rememebr the other little things, might have been a pump upgrade too

just ring up the place where u have to pay it, you can tell them he was driving, and i guess he would have to confirm it, but shouldnt be a big drama, it happens alot, especially when people have too little points left, they just throw em on some-one else's licence
