  1. thats pretty good man. my mate had his with exhaust, cooler, pod, and boosted 12pound from memory, only made like 180. i think your figure is a little high if anything
  2. mate has one on his R34 GT-t, i find the sound kinda of appealing and it isnt open that often (if driven right) has been pulled over heaps but never got done for it (combination of luck and stupidity on the cop's part). thing that i dont like about it is the fluttering from the boost controller opening and closing it rapidly. sounds like Hanibal Lectre when hes talkin bout eatin the kidney and fava beans. fs fsfshsfhs fshf shf fhsfs
  3. ummm that isn't civil? you said your being 'charged' not 'sued' thats a criminal offence

    So And So

care to PM me the workshop you bought it from? maybe inark if you know which one it is/which one u think it is
  5. pics? was lookin at buyin one before i got a VL, dont think i'd buy one now but still interested in having a look
  6. yep solid blue is remote wire (usually), orange with white stripe is illumination (on the head unit) dunno what it is on the skyline, or if it even has it? try it with the red/purple see what happens
  7. its called the skyline 26 from memory, not the autech 260, that was the stagea with the RB26 if i recall correctly
  8. wouldnt it have made sense to find out before buying the car? will it need much for a rwc?
  9. doesnt look like it would be too hard to make one up (says me who probly couldnt lol) all you have to do is cut it from the very middle of the pipe up along the length of it, and any angle towards the side really, as long as its even on both sides if you get what i mean? thats for collectors with the same size pipe joining it eg: 3 inch pipes into 3 inch collector
  10. AE71 corolla KE71 corolla with 4AGE (GZE/GTE if you can afford it) commodore (cheap, plentiful) falcon (as above) R31 (as above, except its not a falcon/commodore) cortina old school RX7 sigma/scorpion starion oh and whats the deal with R30's, i've never known much about them, never heard there no good, but never heard they're 'bulletproof' either?
  11. yeah my mate was lookin at S15's before he bought his rex, and one we looked at in particual had a 5 speed box and what looked like rivets everywhere through the body (cheap-ass chassis strengthening). seemed to be a highly modified car at one point, but thats the only 5 speed S15 i ever heard of, and was definately not stock. did you buy/are you lookin at a dark blue one in S/E victoria by any chance?
  12. do you know anybody with a CAMS licence? last time i heard they can buy the car and legally sell it to you once its here, so that its legally your property, although if you trust theme nuogh this shouldnt be an issue anyway
  13. Ben 1st year boilermaker (1st day today) no stianless, no aluminium, no TIG welding where i work, all basic steel construction, making things for mobile phone towers, boyds that float out in the bay, temp framework for the new freeway being built down this way. not too shabby but hope i get to do more than what im seeing now, wanna learn how to TIG etc
  14. probly one of the biggest missconceptions in car audio. group delay has more to do with box design, physical weight of the cone would have basically inaudible effects, if driven off the same amp at same impedence/power etc
  15. i get alot of that good quality audio stuff real cheap too. thank god theres no serial numbers on audio gear :laughing-smiley-014:
  16. how do you get it nice and big and round? what did you use to shape the sheet? im assuming u started with aluminium sheet?
  17. inverting sub loses performance = wrong there are technical things saying there are less cones area blah blah blah in reality you wont hear a difference. ported = louder, and in general boxes are bigger
  18. yeah but after you fix all the weak links you go reallllyyyy quick. random q, but all those urban legends on the next of clutches coming apart and cutting feet off and stuff, did any part of your flywheel pierce through into the cabin?
  19. could be a dodgy batch of fuel? boost spiking? ambient temp when attempting the sideways action? i didnt actually see a question in there but im assuming you wanna know why it was knocking so much? personally, i wouldnt be too worried about it as long as your not doing it 24/7, even then 79 isnt too high. from memory the PFC cuts in to warn you at about 60 which is well short of doing any damage
  20. it will be a 7M-GTE
  21. the benefit of the Bee*R over the standard limiter is that it cuts fuel rather than ignition so theres no leaning out in the cylender, but if it detonates in the exhaust housing of the turbo this could cause some problems over time, but it should detonate in there coz its cuts ignition, not to say it cant happen but in theory i guess it shouldnt!
  22. what he said ^ let the spring tension out a bit so it can open easier/longer. as a basic rule, set it so it closes just before it gets to idle
  23. dont own, but have driven both, R34 GTt no question, its a much newer car, you cant beat that, and with the gap in price less than ever, definately worth going for
  24. got a list of the PFC's still being made? i've seen it somewhere but cant rememebr where, think it was on nengun or something?
