yeh kinda seems like a waste to spray it a color so close to what it is now (that includes the jade). if your gonna get it done (you should, its free lol) then go somethin that everyone will know instantly its a massive change you know..... even if you get it sprayed in the jade color, i bet most ppl will just be like... but the GTS4 will also get a better launch.... and whats the deal with driveline losses for an ATTESA 4wd, i cant see it being (much) more than a normal RWD providing you have traction? how does the driveline in a GTS4 differ from a GTR?

calders a bit far but any form of race will be held legally of course. as for comparing the cars, in reality, the GTS4 will probly have a whole host of mods if he goes thru with it, but just for comparisons sake, and make andrew not feel so bad that a 33 will be quicker than his car, we just say there'll only be the basic mods, when in reality.... who'd go to all that effort to have a stockish car

because when u add more mods, its too varied. i can find you a hundred R33 GTSt's with exhaust/cooler/boost the basics, and power levels with vary by 50rwlw or more, by limiting mods you try to keep it more even. and it was about straight line drag, so handling and braking doesnt come into it. when we were first arguing, we agreed on 'standard boost', workin on the theory we converted to turbo motor, not just bolted on a turbo. i just said in my earlier post, for this example say we bolted on a turbo so there wasnt anyone saying the NEO has 20kw more... like you just said. in the end if my mate goes through with this, power at the engine will end up pretty similar, its just a matter of which chassis will use the power more effectively

i had the pleasure of being in the passenger seat of one a couple of years back while workin at porsche and omg what a car... (wasnt even the turbo model) dont even know how to explain it, its a big brute, you hear that signature V8 note when you hit like 3000rpm, but its so refined at the same time. altho when you factor in cost, i'd have to be a very rich man before spending that much, but if i was gonna buy a car for around that much, thats one of the first cars i'd look at, right after an M5 lol

yes it will have NA brakes, but your first question was who would win a straight line drag, bigger brakes dont make you go faster in a straight line, not as much as type R stickers anyway . philta, yes i have driven awd cars, not hard out, but you say you need revs to launch good, so wouldnt it make sense that the driver just revs it harder.... alot of ppl are sayin the 4wd will bog down if u dont give it enough, but the question was about all things being equal... things like THE DRIVER. just car for car which would be faster? oh and btw, still hasnt been decided if its just turboing his old motor, or to do a complete transplant, but for this comparison, use the latter of the two edit - actually, go with turboing his old motor, that way no one can use the '33 motor has 20kw less' cause obviously wouldnt use a 34 motor if converting

aaahhh good to get some support here. i was the one who told andru that the our other mates car would be quicker should he turbo it. after all, theres a reason there was never a factory turbo 33 GTS4... it would have been a gt-r for half the price! (yes i know it wouldnt have been exactly but you know what i mean)

anyone watch serious performance 7 i htink.. when the drifter got into the stock auto VT and piled in 4 mates too..... i think it was adam newton if im not mistaken, he did alright, and would have done 100 times better if he had just an LSD

yeh i got the same problems in the VL. fisrt is hard to grab, either when stationary or moving, altho there is that one sweet spot where it slots right in. i have a combination of clutch being very fine and not dissengaging properly (i think) and syncros. crunches 1st 2nd and 3rd, wont go into gear sometimes at all, will just sit there and grind, with the clutch right in, even rollin at like 5-10km'h, while trying to grab second.....

does it chirp second goin flat out?
