  1. don't know how people can race in that view. shits me off
  2. some do. it was an optional extra on series 1
  3. if you go to advanced search and search for posts about the pivot bolt and my name you'll find a pic i posted about it
  4. i'm having a good day. if it had been yesterday or the day before it would've been mostly insults
  5. you can tell by the size of the steering wheel airbag wheel non airbag wheel
  6. yeah mine was pretty much the same. the internal memory issue seems to be common to the htc desire.
  7. oh and i just found this link if you want to delete any default apps http://modmymobile.com/forums/562-motorola...tml#post3882010
  8. it may still download emails to the phone. if you go into application manager in settings, then look at the size of the gmail storage app, that will tell you how much your emails are taking up on the phone (just make sure that you change the filter to "all" instead of "downloaded" if it has that option. if you clear this data it will delete all the emails, so better to do it through the app if it is taking up a fair bit of space. also worth checking the sent items part of your emails in the app if you have sent any emails with attachments, as that can chew up space a bit. for you to have so little space left either the new rom must have a lot of extra crap in it that you don't need, or there is something taking up a lot of space. may be worth looking to make sure you don't have stuff that doubles up. also when you are in the apps manager, you can sort the apps by size, so you can have a look at the big ones and see exactly what is taking up the space
  9. see if they have some sort of spray grease, otherwise something like lubex or innox (stinks a bit but is a good lube)
  10. a lot of the stuff i have mentioned can be done by yourself and parts can be bought over the net for reasonably cheap. for a boost controller i recommend a turbotech one from ebay. i ran one and never had any issues and they are nice and cheap ($37.50 delivered). for a boost gauge just go to your local auto parts store. for a panel filter i'm pretty sure that the commodore k&n filter is the same as the skyline one, or if you go a pod you will need a pod adapter as well (to bolt the pod to the AFM). exhaust: either go to a local exhaust shop or online from somewhere like justjap.com and fit it yourself. you can also get intercoolers from justjap as well
  11. what sort of phone do you have? do you have a lot of emails and texts on your phone? i think they get saved to phone memory and not the SD card, so if you have emails with attachments you don't need, delete them. it should only delete them off the phone and not from the email account itself. also may be worth making sure that the camera isn't saving pics to the internal memory (don't think it can, but worth checking). apparently the xperia battery life gets better after a few chrages. it also appears that as you pointed out they don't have the battery manager like some others do. there is also one major app that seems to be common amoungst people talking about causes of poor battery life, and that is Moxier. it's mentioned in this link (number 2) so it appears that in your case an app killer may actually be beneficial to battery life http://www.xperiax10.net/2010/04/14/improv...0-battery-life/
  12. could be mad at the lack of pink cars?
  13. yeah it is. also wd40 is too thin, so the noise will come back after a few weeks/months. something thicker like a spray grease, motorbike chain lube, or even just a blob of grease on the end of a long screw driver (and then a small piece of wire to work it into the right area) will be better than wd40. wd40 isn't really a very good lubricant.
  14. depends on whether you actually need it or not. i have a reasonable amount of apps installed and i have nearly 87mb left of the 512mb of internal memory.
  15. i am assuming you want more power, not more pair, LOL secondly, you obviously didn't search very hard as there are millions of threads about modifications but i will tell you some anyway. get a turbo back exhaust, raise the boost up to about 10psi (will need an aftermarket boost gauge to do this), either a better quality panel filter or a pod, and a front mount intercooler. that is pretty much all you can do without upgrading the ECU.
  16. if you notice i said "pics of A skyline", not pics of my skyline, LOL
  17. you can fix the squeaking pivot bolt without removing the gearbox. you simply spray something like a spray grease in through the opening around where the clutch fork goes into the gearbox.
  18. i am basing my assesment off 2 things, 1: GT5 prologue (as well as all the previous GT games) 2: having spoken to a guy i know who played a demo at a sony convention
  19. my point being that without the top gear test track you can hardly say that forza and top gear are united. you'd think that they'd be able to model the track to include with it. i'm guessing they will include it down the track, but to go on about top gear and forza uniting without including the test track seems a little bit lame.
  20. probably a good thing, she might get carjacked passing through gympie, LOL just take a fishing rod, or drive to hervey bay (it's about 20/30 mins drive) and sit on the beach having a perve.
  21. if that is in an intake runner, then that oil is probably from the turbo (or valve stem seals) and is possibly somewhat old. it's probably fouling up your plugs though.
  22. forza = 3 bonus cars, a few videos and some stig pics for your dashboard/home screen GT5 = top gear test track, plus at least 1 of the 3 bonus cars from forza, but probably 2 of the 3 bonus cars i think GT5 wins that round
  23. you about you pay me 5 pounds to send you pics of a skyline.
  24. footage showing you can roll cars
  25. settings > battery manager > battery profile
