they actually are a hard car to drift because of the short wheelbase. the only reason why people use them lots is because of the wank factor of them being used in initial D. i've owned a 180sx and a r33 and used them both on the skidpan and i actually found the r33 was an easier car to slide.

so it's the type m bar. there is no such thing as a mspec 33, as they are a model of the r34 gtr. the type m is what most gts-t's are and have the beefier looking front bar. sorry to be picky but that is just something that pisses me right off. as for trimming it to clear the cooler, either angle grinder or tin snips will do the job. just take off small bits at a time.

is it an mspec (r34 gtr) or type m (r33 gts-t)? and are you talking about the actual bar on the reinforcement bar? either way, technically speaking cutting either of them is illegal.

mate if you look next to the 11.79 on the drag slip you will probably see that is says something like 1/8 or possibly 800m. or you are running drag slicks and have a very large 'magic' bottle in the car. but if you really did run an 11, you shouldn't have any problem letting us all know the speed it ran it at and your 60ft time. all else i can see is that it smells like herd of cattle that had eaten something dodgy spent the night in here

the only thing with something like that is that anyone with a printer can print off what looks like a bank cheque. if i was you i would ring nrma now just to ask them about it before going ahead. also, is he willing to pay the asking price before he even looks at the car? if it seems too good to be true the way he is going about it, it probably is. your other option is to accept the cheque then tell him you won't hand over the keys until the cheque has cleared.

is the gtr bonnet from a series 1 or series 2? not sure if they are the same as a gts-t but the gts-t bonnets are different from series 1 to series 2.

you can put a 25 into a silvia or 180sx as well.

i know what you mean about thinking about shouldn't the engine spin backwards. if all the fuel combusted the exact instant that the spark fired then that would be the case, but since it takes time ignite and burn then it doesn't cause the engine to spin backwards.
