  1. but the hairdresser will never be late to work. plus once you give it a bit more work you can laugh at people cause you wasted them in a hairdressers car. i know there are plenty of gts-t's and gtt's owners on here that would be beaten by them.
  2. it means "over night parts from japan"
  3. i only drove once on my L's without someone else in the car. it wasn't far. anyone that knows gympie will know the car yard at the first set of lights when you come into town near maccas and pizza hut. well my mum worked in the office at the car yard and i was waiting for her to finish work one day and i got hungry so i drove from the carpark out the back to maccas and back. all of about 200m of illegal driving.
  4. i keep hearing new stories about how people plan to beat the system. haven't heard one that sounds like it will work yet. so glad i'm not on my p's, and as of next week i won't be in the under 25 bracket either. i will be in the 25 AND under bracket though.
  5. mine was coming on saying that the cat was too hot before i had even started the car in the morning
  6. no. it won't. depending on how the solenoid works it may just make it work as normal, or it may just make it so it only ran 5psi all the time.
  7. yeah. it is just a over temp sensor. i got rid of mine cause it was shorting out
  8. it being in english, the laptop software (unless you pay another $500 or so for it), the wolf can remove the afm, plus a bit more i think
  9. opinions don't need to be scientifically accurate. they are opinions. i might not like someone that you do. does that mean that you are right and i am wrong? no.it is an opinion. i have driven many auto cars, and i haven't found 1 that would out perform a manual version. try driving an auto pulsar then a manual one and you will notice a world of difference.
  10. ok, both auto and manual running on the 5psi wastegate pressure.
  11. cause that is the easiest to compare. if you start talking modified cars then unless all the mods are done by the same person, using the same brand parts that are 100% identical then 1 may be more upgraded than the other.
  12. you won't get 300kw with the stock ecu and a safc. you will need aftermarket management
  13. i think you will run into trouble with the stock ecu maxing out before the injectors do
  14. the easiest way is the heel/toe trick. just keep it at about 5000rpm. if you are running streety tyres there is no need to do a big smoke burnout. just enough to get the water off is all. if you are running slicks then you need to get heat into them so a bigger burnout is better. that is where changing into second helps. you get the tyres spinning faster which creates more heat. the handbrake only works the rear wheels so there is no point using it for the burnout. you can use it to load the motor up on the start line though if you are in a manual. i wouldn't try starting in second unless you have a good clutch or crap tyres.
  15. just get a few exhaust fans fitting in the garage and leave them running all the time. that will suck up a lot of dust. then put plastic down the sides and make sure it has plenty of static electrcity. that will make it kind of like a spray booth.
  16. i have a mag somewhere with the times. they are in the 14 second bracket. might've just been a crap driver
  17. so do you think you could get a stock auto skyline to run a faster pass than a stock manual?
  18. i was just flicking through the demerit points scheme and found the fines for driving a high powered vehicle on your p's. 3 points and $225. the same fine also applies to breaking the late night law and the peer passenger law. the can be found on page 14 of this http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/resources/...nt_offences.pdf so don't say you haven't been warned
  19. how do you get 55.55 as being 10% more than 50? 10% of 50 is 5, not 5.55, that is 11.1% of 50.
  20. ok, well i hope you feel like a big tough keyboard warrior now and you can go and brag to all your mates about how cool you are.
  21. here is a screenshot of the v500 software. this is a blank fuel map.
  22. the software comes with the unit, or can be downloaded for free from their website.
  23. that's cause i have never been to one of his events (never entered one atleast). i go to the cooloola car club motorkanas, which i never see him at, infact i never even see him out on the road. the reason i don't go to his events is that they are on a saturday and i work saturdays. i have been out and watched some of them after work though. plus i haven't owned my skyline since january this year. i've been down to willowbank and put my current car down. but it isn't a racetrack monster. it is a fwd magna, so there is no point putting it round a track. plus i don't have a spare $100 to pay for fuel and entry. and when did i say i was some crash hot racer? i just said i could do a skid. it isn't rocket science. look at all the bogans in commodores that do it. if even they can do it it can't be that hard.
  24. it would if they didn't really want to do it
