  1. Sorry! But no is the simple answer. The R200 is larger in diameter by about 20mm and therefore the moustache bar across the flats is about 10mm further back to accomodate this. Stewart Wilkins will make you one for about $100.00 Cheers, D
  2. I'll call you Tuesday. Cheers, D
  3. Never ever is anything a straight swap when changing models! Just answered your email with basically same information you started this thread. Cheers, D
  4. SOLD! for the princely sum of $1125.00
  5. Matt, As it's a flat panel, my idea was to use it as a template to make my own and put the relevant gauges into it as necessary. I probably don't need to know how fast I'm going on a speedo as that could be calculated fairly easily if needed, I want to put in a tacho and a few gauges. Oil Pressure & Temp, Water Temp, Volts maybe. Boost isn't necessary as I'll only have one level programmed into the ECU. The original one would do me fine if you will part with it. Cheers, D
  6. ASent you a PM with bank details??? Haven't heard from you about it yet???? Cheers, D
  7. Yep! I know, I need what was once recently described as "The PIZZA & BEER" version Cheers, D
  8. When I last enquired I was quoted in excess of $400.00 for Bride ~ R30 seat rails. I haven't decided yet, still looking at seating for driver. Cheers, D
  9. 40mm Dellortoes he said!
  10. For balance you need to get your hands on a balancing tool. The best ones have a ball float on the side of them, that measures and sets up the flow rate. I have one new and hardly used but am reluctant to let it go. I have a Vane tune up analyzer too if anyone is interested, great for carby, non EFI engines, has all the instructions on how to use but no oscilliscope. Cheers, D
  11. $830.00 Door to Door, by "Door to Door Car Transport" Cheers, D
  12. For those a little less informed or short on research! Ryco Oil Filters & their equivalents: Z170 .................................... 95mm Tall Z89A .................................... 99mm Tall Z9 ........................................ 142mm Tall Otherwise IDENTICAL in every way! So I guess it's a matter of choice as to what filter you want on board, personally I am going to use the Z9's I have in stock and then Z89A, because they are currently on ebay (A C Delco Brand) for $20.00 a box of 12 plus $15.00 postage = $35.00 which equates to $2.92ea. Cheers, D
  13. Stay tuned folks! I am out of the Oran Park track day due to illness, but an HKS Hi Mount manifold has arrived from Japan, a new bigger cross flow Delta Fin intercooler and 570/600cc injectors have been acquired. Just a few more bits required and I'll be out at Wakefield probably for a testing session. Some new pics minus the damage will be going on soon. Cheers, D
  14. That would be about right! Ravenoak paid over $500.00 for his o/s/r quarter glass when his DR30 coupe was broken into last year. But I think he picked up a set from Japan & Import Monster for about AU$350.00 I might have a spare set if I can come up with a mock up pair to go into the track car. Cheers, D
  15. Hayman Reese make the biggest & best towbars and their top of the range receiver hitch for the R31 is rated at 1250kg with a tow ball weight of 120kg, so I'm afraid your out of luck. You can put an 12L Scania truck motor in your Skyline and you still wont be legal over 1250kg. That's car & trailer max load. Cheers, D
  16. Marc, PM Sent Cheers, D
  17. As a tow vehicle, it doesn't rely so much on the power, as it does the RATED towing capacity of the vehicle. I have an MX83 Cressida with an 1UZ V8, has bags of power and torque to do the job, but Toyota DO NOT under any circumstances recommend towing more than 1500kg and therefore the trailer and car total mass can't exceed this to be legal & the highest capacity tow bar is made by Hayman Reese and it has a 1500kg rating as the MAXIMUM towing rating for the car is 1500kg. Check the ratings for the R31 before you enter into this conversion as you might just find it a waste of time for the purpose you plan it for. Just as a reference, you have to be caught for it to be illegal, but if you are & your involved in a fatal accident, your going to GAOL, think about this when your planning this conversion. And another thing, and I don't know how they get around it, the max capacity motor that can be put into a vehicle is 3 times (3 X) the body weight and I would be surprised to find the R31 of any description would weigh 1500kg dry. Cheers, D
  18. My L20ET PNV has an Ryco Z9 on it & the L28E I bought also has a Z9, so I guess they fit and work eh? I think you will find they all fit, just some are different sizes. Cheers, D
  19. The ebay kit is the large version. It's 600 x 300 x 76 (24" x 12" x 3" old school) I think what Josh is talking about is approx a 400mm core length, but I'm amused as to why both are mounted with the inlet & exhaust at the top instead of the bottom where a large majority of the space needed to fit them is under the headlights on an Iron Mask front. Cheers, D
  20. The inlet is on the bottom, that's why it's hard to see. I'm going to put it in the PNV and use a crossflow too. I recently bought a Delta Fin Intercooler, they are lighter & flow better than conventional bar and plate construction. The one I bought is big, 600 x 300 x 78 & flows 1020cfm with a 0.2psi drop @ 20psi boost & good for up to 900HP. But that is for the track car. 600 x 300 x 76/8 isn't necessary for a street car, it's an over kill if anything. Cheers, D
  21. No upgrade as such, but R33 standard intercooler is good for about 300hp. If you look at the pics on the now, my track car thread, the intercooler on that had the air con still intact & all that was lost was the headlight washer pump. Cheers, D
  22. You gonna get rid of the rails on the bride seat as well? Probably, make me an offer ????? The safety 21 half cage is out and up for grabs too if anyone wants. It's in the way so it's gone. Cheers, Dennis
  23. L24E one same ............................ Ryco Z9
  24. "PS i ask that infuture no one talk about my private life eg: getting my missus pregnant, btw im 18 not seventeen" Going on 5 by the things you put on here? I have a 7 year old grandson that shows more intelligence than you! Cheers, D
  25. Ben, Was thinking of the old barrel type gauge cluster. Reason: The speedo & tacho panel is flat from memory and would be easier to mount a tacho & gauges, as opposed to the later quadrant gauge cluster set which is all individual units. Cheers, D
