  1. Got to see it in the flesh this afternoon, it's a bit rough on the outside, but it will clean up well. It's at the Dyno tuners for a couple of days to get it running as good as it can for now. Wanting to get it out for a run to blow out the cobwebs on Friday 12th June at Oran Park SAU track day. I think I have a tentative booking with Duncan for it. Will keep you posted on it's development & pics as I go. Cheers for now, D
  2. MAG's that exhaust & seats will look good with a bit of axe treatment ...................... ha ha ha ha ha rofl
  3. All the A/C should help too. The compressor alone would have to be 10kg
  4. 1105kg stock Josh, I don't know yet till I get my hands on the car, but I'm sure perspex for glass, 3 x window winder regulaters & zero interior trim will be a good start. If it doesn't get that light, it wont matter, it's just the goal. I just bought an HKS high mount exhaust manifold ex Japan and an Garrett BB GT3076R is on order. It has to have the turbine housing coated in black ceramic. Cheers, D
  5. Well guys, I can confirm this DR30 is in transit to Sydney for the nice price of $830.00 Keep tuned for developments on this vehicle. 900kg & 400+HP at the wheels is my goal. Cheers, D
  6. Could use a shorter deck eh? lol My Kenwood radio cassette doesn't have this problem. Cheers, D
  7. Why not use 2mm Aluminium sheet & paint it however you please????
  8. Bugger I'm a dill! The mould for this might be getting re made for spares to my DR project. Anyone interested should put their hand up. Cheers, D
  9. A couple of weeks ago I spotted a KGC10 GTR or maybe look-a-like on the M5 heading north towards the M7 interchange, rego 3300 H or K in a bronzy gold colour. Looked grewat from where I was and in excellent condition. Cheers, D
  10. John, What part of your seats are R/S? Is your car a Ti or poverty pack?? And don't be concerned about the postage, I might need a favour in Melbourne if your near the east side. Cheers, D
  11. R34, The non intercooled FJ had a .63A/R rear housing on a T03 mount flange. The intercooled FJ had a .48A/R. As it's fairly well known, I bought the DR recently from Qld and I'm going to use it as a track/hillclimb car. The sky is the limit as to what you want to do, but the first thing you do is punt the ECU and get an a/mkt tuneable unit, then bigger exhaust, then bigger or more efficient intercooler (bigger isn't necessarily better) then injectors, all depending on your budget. I think personally a 2871R is too small as I think it will run out of puff up towards the red line. I'm going with, as stagefummer suggests, an GT3076R with external wastegate and .86A/R rear along with 3" exhaust & 550cc injectors in a custom O'Ring fuel rail. With this I'm looking towards 400+HP at the wheels and then your problem is getting it to the ground effectively. My only concern with Hypergear is it sounds too cheap, remember all of the Monsta T70 turbos that flooded ebay a couple of years ago, they were claimed to be ex USA but in fact were coming out of China, into USA and then to OZ and they were farked, would not spool up at all. Just be sure what your buying as cheap usually is. Cheers, D
  12. Oh! Have you looked at the bushes? They could be stuffed and causing the problem. Cheers, D
  13. Your likely to find the trailing arm is bent & therefore replacement is the only option. There is a way to adjust camber but toe really is controlled by the trailing arm. Cheers, D
  14. I have never had this problem, so I can't suggest a cure other than being very sure the outer clear cover is sealed properly.
  15. ydr! You checked your PM's?
  16. Check the vacuum connection on the booster or probably is the master cyl stuffed D
  17. Well for those that want to listen ................ both, or all 3 cars shown for that matter, I haven't said they DON'T FIT, I said ............. "And might look better if the tires actually fitted the rims?????????" The legal issues with tires is simply this. To all those that choose to have them set up this way. IF your involved in a FATAL accident and your tire fitment is not 100% legal and as per the ADR rules of the car .................. YOUR GOING TO GAOL! or at the very least, your going to be prosecuted for causing the accident. Think about that! Ponder your life after you have hit a pedestrian or another car and caused the loss of a life, because I can tell you first hand what it's like to hit and kill a pedestrian and with today's legal fees, I can tell you you will need many tens of thousands of dollars to defend yourself. The police confiscated my car and had it for over a week trying to find something, ANYTHING that was not stock standard that they could use against me in court and the best they could do was quote braking efficiency %'s and that I had wide wheels. All my cars will be as the tire fitment is designed. Mitchy, Why didn't you consider 235/40 instead of 45 profile? The 40 profile would have sat better on your 9 inch rims and also been a lot closer to the preferred dynamic radius and been another 13mm lower which may have cured the rubbing on the guard issue. Have a nice day! D
  18. Love them rear speakers Ravenoak
  19. I'm using an OLD SCHOOL retro look POST mount radio cassette in a poverty pack centre panel & a 1/4 DIN equalizer in the ashtray and an FM modulated 10 stacker in the boot. Looks a bit original and nobody is gunna want to steal my radio cassette eh? The hole to the left is going to have a plastic pocket from an N12 pulsar or a gauge or 2. Cheers, D
  20. D-limo, Check your emails please. Reply sent tonight, as just got home from work in Canberra. Cheers, D

  22. Works for me! Let's get the deal done and put to bed. Can you give me a mobile I can talk to you on. Cheers, D
  23. Let's see ........................ everything outside of the wheel protection bead, that really, is now doing SFA because the tire has been stretched to it's legal MAX! Tell me this, WHY would you want to put a tire designed for 8" wheels onto anything more than 1/2" bigger when it stretches the sidewalls as you have?
  24. Consider it SOLD! Just sent you an email requesting bank details. We gotta get it on a transporter to Sydney. Cheers, D
