  1. PM to 66yostagea He might be able to help you out. Cheers, D
  2. That's a voice from the past ....................................... You married that poor girl yet Ben? Cheers, D
  3. Guys! It's all to do with the OD of the disc rotor vs space in the back of the wheel. Your wheels need to clear the caliper, simple as that and 274mm dia DR30 rotors wont allow 14's to go on. The stock fronts are only 250 so 14 is easy then. Cheers, D
  4. The Oz delivered R30 Metalic green paint code is 104
  5. "Now the next question, anyone fit 14" wheels over dr30 front brakes?" They don't fit! 15" minimum Cheers, D
  6. Take the disc off the back of the hub (unbolt) and machine down the diameter of the hub to suit, so that the disc hat slides over the top. The hubs are forged steel, not cast and machine very well. Cheers, D
  7. Drew! How do you define "horrible noises" because these calipers are nearly bullet proof and I find it amusing that you keep destroying them? Cheers, Dennis
  8. The sedan has a nice louvre at the back and a stop light mounted on the parcel shelf. Be careful! The louvre is likely to fowl the wiper blade. Ho Hummmm
  9. "you will need a HR or DR30 import 4 door rear glass, and all the associated bits". Must be a 4 door import glass as nothing else fits. Might be easier flying to the moon than finding the bits in Oz, but if I was attempting such an exercise, I would be trying to immitate the imports and get a hole cut in the bottom of the glass, but if it breaks your in more trouble than it's worth. Cheers, D
  10. ydr30 wrote "might av been said said but u no the floor pans between auto and manual r30s are diferent". 66yostagea wrote "Before I sent the RMR30 to Skyline heaven I tried fitting the split rear seats in an MR30. No go. everything is different from the front of the rear seat to the rear of the platform". Maybe you both follow the wrong career paths, just maybe you should be chief designers for the BULLSHIT Car Company, because, according to the Nissan parts list for R30 Skylines there is only ONE (1) part number for the front and rear 4 door floor assemblies. Front is 74300-19551 and rear 74514-01L00. However, there is a different part number for the GT coupe floors, along with South Africa 4 door supply. To my knowledge the tunnel size for auto vs manual in MR30 is a myth. As for my old friend 66yostagea and fitting the split fold rear seat to his MR30 Ozzy sedan, it's all the add ons that make it near to impossible to fit. My imported coupe has split fold rear seat, as do the imported sedans, it's just the ozzy & cheapo's that came with a fixed rear seat and therefore making mods near to impossible. Chears, D
  11. Not rare, common place in S2 Skylines and what to store ..................... everything you can because one day they aren't going to be there and your gunna need it, if your a serious classic Skyline owner. D
  12. The OZ delivered 84/85 MR30 Ti Hatch weighed 1250kg as per Nissan & rego papers
  13. Make it $50 and you might get some interest, but $100 for a 24mm when a 25mm R31 is better at your local wrecker for about $20.00. Cheers, D
  14. I know this is not exactly the place, but I saw a really nice Silver R30 hatch on the M5 east bound today about 1.00pm (1300) Pity though the P ........... (knows everything) ...... rofessional driver sign on the car didn't indicate the driver had any knowledge of our road rules. Right arm hanging outside down the side of the door, changes lanes without indicating, can't keep left unless over taking, tailgates, just to name a few. Is there any wonder Skylines & their drivers are considered public enemy number one? Cheers, D
  15. Springs fit all sedan, hatch & coupe for info! Why would you have a CATALYTIC converter on an R30????? D
  16. I for one suggest you get yourself a manager! They are somewhat expensive, but in your case better than "HANDLING YOURSELF" Classic in any stretch of the imagination ends at 1990 and nothing R32 ever descended below 1991. The previous 2 guys weren't tough enough but that's how we are in Classic Skyline. You have to be kidding yourself.
  17. Maybe not, but I did say compliance & registration or did you miss that bit ????????????????????????????????? About $1000.00 for side intrusion bars alone unless of course you want some dodgy construction size channel welded into your doors + stamp duty + green slip + + + etc. In Qld a turbo 6 cylinder costs about $760.00 for rego each year, let alone the compliance costs and other additional add ons. What are you saying, I'm wrong, I have cocked it all up for a couple of hundred dollars??????????????
  18. DR30 - FJ20 red over black $13,300??? Plus about $3-5000.00 compliance & rego and we're talking over $18000.00 on the road. What did I say in another thread, due to anything R30 now being CULT status in Japan, you won't see anything much decent under $20 grand. And this car is a poverty pack too. Cheers, D
  19. Just spoke to the buyer of Zeb's car and it IS NOT for sale! Can only assume it to be an old advertisement, but waiting confirmation from National Car Connection at Homebush.
  20. Yeah! But I wonder how it will affect our specific models. I'm waiting to here what Japan has to say? R30's generally have reached CULT status in Japan and therefore the likelyhood of getting another one here for under $10,000.00 is rare. Cheers, D
  21. From what I can decipher on the sales brochures, the 2000RS (KDR30JFT) FJ20ET poverty packs weigh 1185/1195kg and luxury optioned (full electrics) 2000RS-X (KDR30XFT) vehicles weigh 1225/1235kg. Maybe StagefumerII can put more light on this from the brochure he has? Cheers, D
  22. Oh! Also need year model, not that it's a biggy, just 5kg on some models. Cheers, D
  23. My PNV doesn't weigh 1320kg ....................... where did wikipedia get that information from???? A DR30 weighing 1320kg would be considered a BRICK in my humble opinion! anyone know where you can get this data from? Out of a JDM Sales Brochure would be a good start??? Also the power figures. Same place I suspect??? Did some come standard with RB20 engines? ................... NO! Definitely NO CHANCE!! To answer your questions more accurately, I need to know if you have a 2000RS or 2000RS-X and Sedan or Coupe and Manual or Automatic, hence why I asked in another thread, WHAT CONFIGURATION, yet everyone just thought I was being a smart arse. It's so little what they really know!!!!!!
  24. In which configuration? Sedan? Coupe?? Auto??? Manual???? etc etc etc
