    Yep, all the same, but get an MR hatch rear as it is already disc brake. Not same as your DR but has all the same mounts. Only other problem is MR uses an R180 diff & DR uses an R200, otherwise it's all identical. Cheers, D

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 2949cc & 10.5:1 compression is a tad high to turbo, but would be an excellent n/a comp particularly with your set up. Be interested in how it sounds on full song. Cheers, D

    Bit more than just sanding the body from what I see, but the motor is every bit as good as EFI when the webber's are running right. The effort will be well worth it for my money. Cheers, D

    2008 was too soon for me, but I'll be there in 2010 even if on a trailer, but I plan having mine registered end of this year and new motor sometime next year

    I bought my pistons from them. Plus 1.0mm forged flat top Ross Racing Pistons for a tad under $700.00 delivered. Compared to nearly $1600 here in Oz to get them made. Had no hang ups, deal went very smoothly. Cheers, D

    Hi Guys, You can't run 14 inch wheels with stock DR or Z31 front brakes, as they are 274 x 22 rotors and they just don't fit. 15 inch minimum! If it's for the 1600? 240K used to be the big upgrade for them years ago, or convert LH Torana, as I did to a 180B SSS. Also rear discs would be a big plus. Maybe stock MR/HR brakes would suffice and be best thought of. Cheers, D

    13l/100 city driving That's pretty damned awful for my money, my 1UZ V8 Cressida gets about 11.5L/100 city driving and that's an AUTO to boot.

    Tank capacity 65 Litres or 14 1/4 Imp Gallons and low fuel light activates when fuel level drops below 12 litres or 2 5/8 Imp Gallons.

    He finally replied to my question and guess what, it was white and it's now black, so it was never black out of the factory as we thought. It's just another resprayed Oz delivered MR30 poverty pack, and it's probably worth something, but nothing near a grand. IMHO Cheers, D

    A single edge razor blade and holder is also a good thing, you can get a box of 100 blades from Office Works or any cleaning supplier, or maybe Bunnings.

    Yep! and then they won't take it back. Surely they would have had 84/5 R30's out there too.

    As it was suggested, you might have grabbed the wrong head, but first check the distance across the valves and if it's close to the 83mm bore size, your going to have to notch the bores or take it back and swap it for an N47 off a late model R30. Remember the 280ZX has an 86mm bore. Cheers, D

    Well I have asked, through ebay, for his paint code and then we might be able to sort out if his black claim is correct. I was fairly nice about it, so it will sort out one of his claims, BUT as yet he hasn't come back to me. Cheers, D

    Is it a KHR or an HR30? Some of the KHR's had a beaut optional speaker enclosure on the back ledge & I would be interested in these if you had them. And the rear parcel shelf if in reasonable condition, that is required in Queensland, by another old fart on this forum. Same as picture. Cheers, D

    The one in the photo used to belong to a d!ck named George Bryant and he lives in Nelson and he swapped it for a pig. A 4 dr sedan HR30 and both Stagefumer and myself supplied all sorts of parts to him to help him out without anything in return and he eventually sold it to buy a poofter Honda CRX with a dudd motor and paid nobody what he owed them.
