  1. Yeah! What has a 1994 anything got to do with CLASSIC???
  2. Whats wrong with a bit of PAINT???????
  3. Try Stewart Wilkins on (02) 4577 2400 That's where I'm getting my good bits from.
  4. Easy pleased still I see! I think it looks FUGLY and all 1 colour looks very ordinary.
  5. Be careful Rory, they pop up on ebay often and for under 20 bucks, so be aware of that when you start looking for a manual. The base book about 30mm thick isn't everything, if your car is a series 2 (84/85) your going to need a supplement as well.
  6. Otherwise GOOD LUCK! They is like rockin horse shite. Most people that have them hang on to them.
  7. Get your injectors serviced! Part of the service is replacing the O rings and pintel caps.
  8. Before I go into this further, are we talking about a MANUAL or POWER steering box? D
  9. You could be right, the #826 is correct and it looks black on the colour card, but the UK Datsun Owners list states #826 as Dark Blue/Blueish Black Metalic for C210 - C32 - K10 - R30 & Z31. The name of the paint is in Japanese so anything is possible. D
  10. Give me an address and I have a fuel reg for carbies you can have for nothing. And nothing will beat an electric fuel pump for delivery pressure and flow rate.
  11. Try Ebay Item number: 120204980345 for $110/pair
  12. Why is everyone so hell bent on changing something that works fairly well as it is? The semi trailing arms don't cause massive camber problems and if they did SWR can do a conversion for about $800.00 to make the rear camber adjustable. It's a sliding rose joint affair in the trailing arm, as it's been explained to me. Remember when doing these conversions, if you have any aspirations on competing the car in anything, even club events, off standard & fabricated modifications, engineered or not, you end up in a sports sedans type class against just about anything that goes. As for rack & pinion Vs steering box, why not just overhall the steering box? Take the slack out of the box and all the ball joints and arms and the stock R30 steering isn't all that bad. Doesn't give the feedback the R & P does, but it is still a fairly good system. I think the dollars would be better spent somewhere else. JMHO
  13. Sorry! But anyone that uses CUT springs is a farkin dipstick IMHO. For that matter, anyone that uses ANYTHING made by Pedders isn't much different either. Go ask Pedders what their spring rates are and they REFUSE to tell. I have a set of N12 Pulsar lowered (30mm) pedders springs, I took them to Allsprings in Liverpool NSW and had them measured. With this information I then contacted Pedders and their technical dept told me the springs were exactly what I wanted when I said I wanted about 200lb/in. Funny that their own springs only measured 135lb/in front and 120lb/in rear, sort of the reverse for good handling in a FWD car. Go ask them the specs on anything they sell and they will not give any other answer than what you provide them with. Not company policy to give out the specs they say! King Springs are the best off the shelf, followed by Lovell's and both companies don't hide their spring rates. In NSW the legal lowering is 30mm MAX, but there is more to it than just buying a set of off the shelf if you want your car to handle as well. But if it's just looks your looking at and normal day to day driving go buy a set of Kings. Someone on Ebay Item number: 220187413233 is selling a set of 4 springs for $235.00 which is a pretty good deal. Cheers, D
  14. If it was 2 tone it would have been easier to nominate. Combination code is #060 = #028 Grey/#826 Black. Cheers, D
  15. No! #006 is SILVER and #028 is GRAY
  16. If it's a definite SILVER it's likely to be #006, or if it's darker towards GREY it will be #028. The Oz delivered MR30 hatches and sedans came out in #006 silver, if this compares favourably with your DR. D
  17. Questions: Should I go for flat-top pistons, and if so which brand/where from? N/A or Turbo is the end result??? as flat top pistons in an E88 or N47 will give a compression of about 10:1 Do I stick with my E88 head or change to the N47? E88 EFI Head is considered among those that are supposed to know as THE BEST n/a head available. N42 & P90 seem to be the choice in turbo application but with either N42, N47 they have the same sized valves and combustion chamber volume. Will either head need modifications to suit flat-tops? Would it be easier/cheaper to buy a 280zx series 2 engine that already has flat-tops and the P90 head. In my opinion this is the way to go, but I have been criticised before about this. P90 and flat top pistons give a comp of about 8.5:1 on stock bore and 8.7 at plus 1.0mm and is regarded as the best of the best in turbo heads as it was the factory choice at the end, but not always easy to find at the right price. Remember any L28 block is designed as a rear sump and will need to be modified to become a front sump engine, oil pick up etc. Drilling the front dip stick hole will block the rear oil return, but that's not a problem as you don't need it with the front sump configuration. Getting a new dipstick holder might be a problem though. I keep getting promised one from afar but nothing eventuates.
  18. "and put in a new iPod Alpine deck. " Ever think this might be why it got broken into in the first place????? It's my belief, the flashier the stereo in a car the more some other prick will want it and when they do, they don't give a damn about what they damage to get it. My PNV has a post mount Beltek radio/cassette in the dash, connected to a Kenwood Equaliser, to Front, Rear & Sub amps driving the speakers and subs with a Kenwood 10 stacker in the boot hooked up through FM modulation, but in the dash and visible to Mr Arsehole looking in, it's OLD SCHOOL and they're not interested. D
  19. You can get the parts through Nissan Australia (I got both a fan switch for $170 and the rear window for $500) My god, I got the lot for less than half this, both windows, actuators, motors and all for under AU$250 landed. Sorry Steve, but I would never have expected you to replace it with NEW and I couldn't find anything even close to the condition of the ones I got, so I wasn't prepared to let it go. As for the switch, what fan switch are we talking about that cost you $170.00? And where did your mechanic go to get Nissan Australia to help, because I went to Macarthur Nissan on a couple of parts today and got zero response. Cheers, D
  20. Dan, Have you still got the door bump strip as I'll be down late January 08. Dennis
  21. Yeah I do actually, but I might have sourced one in Melbourne for him. Steve, call me on 0406 142 529 Dennis
  22. Matt, There is R31 braces on ebay for $169 if you can re work them. Cheers D
  23. MR30 Oz delivered Ti if you can find them
  24. My 16 x 8's are +38mm and they're a tight fit under the rear guards
  25. These are my wheels collection: The 5 star wheels are Monza Racing Rims and I use them for street use. The dark silver are the BBS Lorinzer wheels I use for track and the Silver Advans I just recently sourced to use as drag rims.
