  1. Yeah! Like this one maybe? Cheers, D
  2. 1360 something I think, but if it's not it's close. Cheers, D
  3. Do you want a CLASSIC or just another Skyline is what you should be asking yourself? If Classic is the answer you have no choice except for which HR31 you get, but if it's just another Skyline, well the skies the limit in R32's. It has been said that an RB25DET in an R32 is the ultimate Skyline. How old is old?? My KHR30 is over 20 years old and still without cancer, so age shall not weary a good one. And red tops suk, they have a problem over 5000 but some of the R31 people can elaborate more on that. Cheers, D
  4. I might be able to secure the services (not his car) of a Fujitsu V8 Support Series driver if your interested or you think he might be of some assistance. I'll try to get my PNV back together for this. Cheers, D
  5. Put me down for a guaranteed show, thank you. Cheers, D
  6. PM sent about your proposed weekend away. Cheers, D
  7. Looks like a lot of would be's if they could be's on this thread? There is a lot of names saying yes! that aren't on the IN list. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Cheers, D
  8. Well I got a bargain then, I guess the M/T ET's would be about 30% worn and 14/16 psi is the recommendation from Mickey Thompson Tires in the US. Cheers, D
  9. Non flammable is the key. Synthetics that are easily combustible aren't allowed. Natural fibres are the best, Jeans etc etc etc. Cheers, D
  10. Picked up my newly acquired M/T ET's today and now I need to ask for some information. To all the drag racers, The tire size is 255/50 x 16 and my car weighs about 1400kg. As this is my first outing at WSID, would someone care to recommend a tire pressure that should last the day and give me some reasonable results. The side walls say max load of 765kg @ 44psi, but I would assume this would be far too high pressure for my use when the total load on the rear might be 700kg body weight. And I wouldn't think half @ 22psi would be right either. Thanks in advance, Dennis
  11. Have never encountered a reindeer on the main road through the park in my life. Have done on the dirt & side roads but never on the main road. As for surface condition? Who cares & not the issue, your averaging 50k! And the worst maintained parts are in the tight sections and over 60kph is impossible when sticking within the rules. Have a go if your game???? Either your up to it or not????? I know of an EH Holden that did the run from Crown/Keira St's intersection to Sutherland station via the coast road (National Park) @ 0300 hours in 26 minutes. Maybe you would like to try this instead
  12. You had to play & now you have to pay! Simple as that. Out of balance at 100,000rpm and it will self destruct. Maybe you should have been working on PUSSY and not cat and maybe the wife might be a whole lot happier too. Send it off to Mr Slide for a rebuild and a parting of about $800.00 You lost this round mister. Cheers, D
  13. Well, I recently found this on ebay for $1000.00, but before I went with the HR30, I chased a guy that had one of these complete, in Campbelltown for over 2 years and eventually he sold it to a local wrecking yard. It's a U320 Datsun dual cab 2 door ute. Thought it might have done wonders with an SR20 in it. Cheers, D
  14. Problem with the J series is I can't find any info on them, neither can I get info on the 2900 K series. If your going to do a big J series it's going to be a fair bit of hit and miss. Maybe, you can do as I am. I'm keeping everything from my PNV, original engine, lights, not suspension as it was stuffed, but bonnet etc etc etc so if need be it can be put back to near original, but for me it will be a bit of a beast. If your going to blow away your mate your going to need more than a J series. Cheers, D
  15. Item number: 190080906333 Twin SU type manifold on ebay.com.au suit L6 Nissan
  16. What I just found was P130 came out with L20, L24 engines as well, so that's what I would be doing. L20/24/28??? nobody is going to know. 65 -71 L20 twin carbs. You can probably get 240Z twin carb manifolds still if you look hard enough. Maybe webber manifolds too depending how much of a beast Vs classic you want.
  17. Is it a 31 or P130 model?
  18. I only suggested the 41 because the 45 wouldn't fit. But for my money, if it was mine i would research it for a while, a good week on the net, find out the biggest and best that would look stock but give it some grunt. Remember pre 76 had no ADR's so the sky is really the limit. A good set of headers, with a decent exhaust system, maybe a webber, like the 40mm twin down draught IDE's, about 9:1 comp, see someone about a cam maybe, any luminition type (optical) electronic ignition and you would have a very nice vehicle. BUT! If you want an out & out BEAST, VQ41 would be my go. Cheers, D
  19. I'm takin my daily driver and it's not a Skyline. If you read the thread it's open to all comer's that pay the bucks. I have never been to the drags (WSID) last time I ran a car it was a quarter mile, not 400m and it was 1974 at Castlereagh and the car was a 180B SSS. So! I guess I have something to learn from you drag racer stars. Cheers, D
  20. $100.00 Ebay item # 150089519152 Size XXL 63-64cm Arai near new, never worn, so they say. Cheers, D
  21. How big is not small???????????? Get a tape measure and wrap it around your head over your forehead and around your ears and give me result. Cheers, D
  22. Pics of condition to [email protected] please, or address to inspect? Dennis
  23. Have an interesting challenge/Test for the driver in everyone??????? National Park (Nasho) The challenge/Test of SKILL: Audeley Weir to Stanwell Park service way. AVERAGE (not do) 50kph or better for the entire trip and NOT CROSS the centre of the road once, stay on the correct side of the road at all times. IF your honest with yourself????? you will find it's not an easy task and ANYONE that claims it's easy, I would like to see how easy they did it. Cheers, D
