  1. trying to work out what stroker kit to go for myself, my tuner has suggested JUN but it seems the tomie and HKS kits would also be suitable I have an early rb26dett, would I be better off starting with a later block from an r33 or r34?
  2. bump! why buy a cheap GTR with problems when I will deliver this one to its new owner in immaculate condition, all you need to do is enjoy it! Includes adjustable cam gears (will fit them at service time if car is not sold before hand) cheers
  3. kinda interested in the turbo's Geoff, I'll do a search for specs and see what if anything is needed to fit them to my r32 (pretty sure my car has aftermarket dumps) if you have the details I need pm me when you get a chance, in the meantime I'll try and hunt up specs myself cheers

  9. 1989 Model Nissan Skyline GTR in immaculate condition, 1 owner in Australia, RWC, 4 months reg, power options include turbo back exaust, adjustable suspention, 17" alloy's, pods, $1500 clarion stereo, turbo timer, 2 stage boost controller, cam belt + all fluids and brakes done. Car made 193kw at all 4 wheels running .9 bar boost on MPC dyno. Beautiful mild skyline thats been cared for. I have this problem, I had my discs machined and pads replaced and they were noisy as hell, I took the car back and they looked at it and when I got it back they were better but still noisy.. stock rotors and Lucas pads, I havnt been back since because I have a problem with assholes pretending they know my car. I'll be trying the spray then if that doesnt work I'll pull them down myself and do them myself.. *shakes fist in hollow rage*
  14. in all honesty the flaking paint on the intake pipe on stock cars is a bit of bullshit considering most r32 GTR's are now 15yo. maybe when the cars were alot younger, but the condition of the car should talk volumes more than some missing paint on the plenum (btw, mine hasnt lost to much paint )
  15. cheap! tell him to raise it so my car is worth more tbh at $17k I would be looking very closely at the car, they can be a money pit (you will be $20k before you have it in your name, insured and on the road) but there are good buys to be had so if it all checks out go for it!
  16. sure the 34 is newer and all that, but its not a GTR go 200kph round a sweeping bend in the wet in both and then tell me its a downgrade to go 32 GTR
  17. have a browse around the forums, there is plenty of info to keep you occupied. the 32's are getting on in years and altho most are well maintained many have been thrashed and on thier last legs, realy its like buying any 15year old car, have a real good look at it...! many cars from japan have basic mods such as pods, exaust and a few gadgets but thats about it, these cars are good for around 165kw at all 4 wheels at stock boost (8psi? i cant recall) PowerFC is the computer upgrade most people go with, I have a feeling Microtech isn't the best option for them, my tuner reccomended PowerFC or go the Motec. .9 bar boost (14psi) seems to be the safe limit for stock turbos and with pods and an exaust should net around 195kw at all 4 if the car has no service history in australia I'd recomend you get all fluids changed (including brakes and diffs) plugs and dial it in on the dyno at .9 bar and leave it there until you do somthing about aftermarket turbos. Oh and you will want to change the cam belt. I did all the above and it cost me around $1100 with N1 or equivilent turbos you sheld be able to make close to 300kw at the wheels with a stock bottom end, for how long till you spin a bearing who knows tho. if your in melb and in the market, mine is for sale (if any of the above is incorrect please feel free to point and laugh)

  21. narrow V mazda v6 maybe a chance, otherwise I think you would need to pretty much re fab the chassis

Hiya, had some details downloaded on my PC of some of the race only nissans like R390 and the P35 racer but they have gone missing :'( does anyone have details of the factory lemans and other exotic nissans, specifically the engines. I would do just about anything for 1 of the P35 3.5L v12 engine, but I'm pretty sure that wont happen if anyone has some usefull links for the specs of any of the nissan V engines I'd be stoked, cheers

  24. Fitter and turner by trade but I manage the family plastics factory these days.. nylons and polyeurethane, and yes we can do custom engine mounts and things like that actually looking for a fitter and turner and a cupple of laborers if anyone is interested. hiedelberg north side
