  1. bit of a point there on P platers/illeagal mods to cars displaying a sticker or plate that identifies as a police friendly car/social club SAU would have to do scutineering to ensure that the good work and good will at trying to work with law enforcement and the general public isn't flushed down the toilet with the next OMGZ fully sick FMIC, 9" exaust mod on a stickered/plated car if you have a tuned skyline and dont give it some stick occationally your prolly full of shit. that said, I would hope the majority of folks here are decent people and dont get into the mob mentality that street racers are being condemed for (and is one of the reasons I'm here and not one of the other fully sik import forums) I personally wouldnt be comfortable with a special sticker/plate if my car was not fully roadworthy and without illeagal mods (which it isnt) but I'm sure some people would see that kind of sticker/plate as a chance to get away with being an idiot or curcumventing RWC laws just a few thoughts

  3. problem that most couriers/transport mobs have is thier drivers will arrive at any given time not at the sender or recievers convienience, if your anywhere near Hiedelberg you can use my factory as a send point but if its going to a resedential address then the reciever may need to pickup at a depo or be contactable for the driver just shoot me a PM if you want me to send it for you
  4. we use couriers please http://www.couriersplease.com.au/ and Samson transport (no website) (03) 9308 9293 head office, for larger stuff interstate, they are damn cheap! never had a drama with either
  5. read the entire thread and news articles. all i can say is nice work you retards (the people involved not SAU members) now no doubt it will be even more likely that I am picked up and defected or somthing by a pissed off copper when I'm just going down the shop for some milk or smokes. makes me think about selling my GTR, simply to much of a bad rep on these cars sometimes, and this incident doesnt help at all

  8. whoa, tats pretty bad.. glad you are ok. err on the side of caution next time wont you? panel work/car can be fixed/replaced only 1 of you tho. oh, and even if its a drunk mate or associate dont forget to tell them to 'close' the door and not 'slam it the fkk shut' like most nongs do. damn that shits me when people do that, people get dirty with me but I always remind them to just close it gently /end rant
  9. thanks for the link, awesome read (still going lol.) the Maxgrade are made in Japan, seem to have a decent tread pattern, but they are definatly trying to kill me, havnt driven them in the wet much since the wheels were fitted but thismorning I baked brownies on every corner... they are seriously dangerous, so much so I will be winding down the boost until I get somthing better, dont realy feel like testing the ATTESSA at 100k's while boost comes on overtaking a truck or somthing AVOID!, hell I wouldnt even feel right passing these on to anyone [edit] actually called maxgrade, Z rated aswel....'sif do over 240k's with these POS tyres
  10. awesome thread, great info here is my 2 cents: Dunlop Direzza 255/40/R17 wet = 8+/10 dry = 7/10 value = 8/10 definatly great in the wet, could be better in the dry imo, pretty nice tyre all in all. 'Maxgrade' 255/40/17 wet = 0/10 dry = 2/10 value = 0/10 (I value my car and my life) these are a dead set death trap... AVOID! on my GTR they slide around everywhere, I have never seen my tourque splitter guage work so hard
  11. Changed over my wheels to some cheapie's I got on egay with 90% tread tyres as my old rims needed repair and didn't want to spend to much fitting fresh rubber on shabby wheels. the rims are 17x9 fronts and 17x9.5 rears tyres are 'Maxgrade' 235/45's front and 255/40's rear and are dead set dangerous in the wet the old dunlops direzza's (?) I were using which were on the wear strips were 10 times safer than these 'Maxgrade' things slide all over the place on a wet road... they are on my r32 GTR, god help anyone with these tyres and a GTST (best drift tyre ever?) so I realy need to replace these tyres before I have to brake hard or I forget I'm wearing heavy shoes. who is the go and what tyre reccomendations do you all have for my baby? cheers
