  1. Read through this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Hy...ce-t261613.html
  2. Learn the definition of "high boost." Try HKS coolers. Been told those cores flows lots better as the inner division is in " > " sort of shape instead of " | "
  3. Well I guess when the car's not moving you don't get air travel through the bumper so it won't make any noise. I guess its not some thing to worry about. You should get a proper BOV before hitting the tracks.
  4. f*k thats pretty mad result for a CA. Thats the most responsive CA 316rwkws I've seen. Whats that in a Garrett range?
  5. Probably worth spending $800 to high flow the turbo and some injectors before tunning it. should see 260rwkws with safe boost. Trent at status would be a good place to go in Melbourne and lot cheaper then 1K.
  6. If its similar to a KA or a SR engine the best go is HyperGear's ATR28 turbos. They are T28 size turbos made to produce any thing from 230 to 300rwkws. Power curves on them are solid. have a look at: http://www.digi-hardware.com/atr28.html They are a sponsor on this forum.
  7. I Had one while back. Definitely not a straight swap mate. Water fittings are different, Dump pipe needs to be custom made, intake pipe is different, I had a boost spike issue after installation. It must be externally gated. Performance wise its not bad.
  8. Thats pretty good with 10psi. My stock turbo made 190rwkws at 14psi and the dam thing lost its turbine wheel on the dyno. Keen to see what happens with a better management system and more boost. Does any one know if the Nistune Chip works with the R34 Stagea ECU?
  9. Some more interesting Results. I found this on NS. which I believe the torque is abit funny. Its a GT2871R on a worked SR20det with Greddy cams made 280rwkws (highest GT2871R results I ever seen). This would be a back to back comparison of ATR28 CA18 VS GT2871R SR20 GT2871R SR20det 280rwkws Original Dyno sheet: I spoted above power curve into ATR28 CA's dyno sheet:
  10. Here's the thread about their turbos. I'm pretty sure they are highflowing with the ATR28G3 turbo core. should have some very interesting results. Definitly go to see Trent at status tunning for dyno tune. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...-H-t249212.html
  11. Just can't help reading this thread over and over again. Making 260rwkws at 5000RPM on a CA this is just insane. Even SR20s on GT2871Rs can't even do that as in both response and power. really good work guys can't wait to see what can it do on my RB25.
  12. Yes, but don't forget RB25det's got 2x more cyclinders and 0.7L of more capacity. This on RB25 should make even more power, Torque with heaps more response. 260RWKWs at 5000RPM on a CA, its some thing i've never seen before.
  13. Look this is from a Normal RB25det's dyno sheet of hypergear's website tuned by Sam. Car made 230rwkws at 14psi and this is not bad power curve. Other wise you can try Trent at Status tinning. He might be able to get more power, as Sam prefer safe tune, so it can be possible that it’s not tuned at its limit with your misfire issue.
  14. But isn’t this is a High comp NA RB25 with a Turbo kit bolted on? Probably started to detonate with high boost. Need to install a Thick head gasket to lower compression before add in more timing and boost. The max power as I've seen out of TR43 on normal RB25det is 261rwkws at 20psi.
  15. If you are in Melbourne try Dr.drift. My R33 was tuned there with stock AFM and injectors running a TR43 on 14psi made 235rwkws with a Nistune chip (think it is what they called). Very happy with the power and response. Paid $650 all up.
  16. you are going to need a minium 230rwkws to make 13 secs, I did 12.7 with 245rwkws, and 11.15 sec running 50 shot Nos on 275 rwkws. You will need slick tyres perfered with wide rims, will help you to get better time.
  17. still available. rear bar would fit both Spec 1 and 2, But front bar fits S1 only
  18. Photos are up. got the bars from jetspeed long time ago. then sold the car. They are unpainted.
  19. will be looking $300 a bar. will post photos tomorrow
  20. Selling a R33 GTST's Trust GTR style front bar and a R33 Nismo Rear bar. They are in Grey colour, ready for spray. Pickup in Melbourne. PM for more details.
  21. Got mine installed for $500 including a custom front pipe. I pulled 265HP wheels at 12psi with factory fuel and ecu system. looks like hypergear managed 290rwkws on a CA18 with the high flow. should make 300+rwkws on rb25 with out much issues.
  22. Would you have a copy of the dyno read out?
