  1. Soundeth a bit like a dead turbo... Still boosts?
  2. I've been warned of it by a couple of workshops. Plus, why do you need to do it, it isn't like it's stiff or anything, it's very easy to manipulate. Oh, and the old heat wrap on the oil lines... Saves them splitting and causing fires! I have it on my return line too...
  3. I found it funny when I was actually talking in a thread about a real p i g...
  4. I see SAU NSW getting confusing...
  5. He can go as low as 3PSi if he's got the stock actuator. It's all about where you measure boost, and where you take the actuator pressure source from. Both from the same place, what the guage reads the actuator sees, 3PSi will get it open and holding steady. I run mine from the manifold, as I want my pressure control to be in reference to what I'm putting down it's throat...
  6. You must go through a lot of oil coolers...
  7. Except for the cars that are held in the actual police impound lots...
  8. I do... 250cc bikes get minced... And rolling runs against 600CC sports bikes is priceless when they look back and they've only pulled around 2 car lengths on you... Then the harleys... They're like racing Excels... But haven't ran anyone like that in AGES... Maybe I should go for a drive?
  9. For that boost controller you have it hooked up "correctly" Although, I HIGHLY recommend taking your pressure source from an intercooler pipe, or off the manifold direct. Secondly, if when hooked up direct from intercooler pipe to actuator you're getting over 10PSi, adding a boost controller won't bring it down... Boost controllers only increase the pressure. Where are you located mate?
  10. Normal. But: Why only a 2.5" dump pipe then a 3" system? You've just strangled the whole exhaust at the dump pipe...
  11. If you're running a POD, it could have a film of oil on the AFM. Try taking the AFM out and spraying the thin wire thoroughly with CO contact cleaner.
  12. Put a catch can on, and plumb it all in properly. This is what they're for!
  13. Get a catch can on it. My RB25/30 was dumping alot of oil out the breathers on back off on the dyno... Also found it severly breathing oil on the track though too...
  14. *Sending in entry form now*
  15. I'm glad you've finally learnt when I'm having a dig at you... LOL
  16. But your car would so fast with the NOS and the big rims, and body kit and those awesome Vinyls! Oh, but you've got dodgy knock sensors hey? Tehehehehe...
  17. Bah! You should know by now, I'll still be there skyline or not! I've been to every official SAU Event since OP GP! As Nick said, he's seen the Jazz more times then my Skyline...
  18. Soaking it in water is a BAD thing to do... Heat wrap will trap moisture and rust the pipes...
  19. I never have an issue... If it's a nice V8 or other car beside me I give the appreciation nod and we both just cruise off... Last guy who went to plant it stopped as soon as it started to spool and then fluttered massively from 2nd to 3rd... He looked over with a "I would have bitten off more then I can chew" But other then that... I only really got it from people I actually egged on, half the people who tear off at lights AREN'T trying to race you... I take off quck all the time in the work Jazz... I'm just driving normally
  20. *Watches Cassbo fit factory front bar again*
  21. Why haven't I? That's a $100 dollar day in fuel alone for me...
  22. Probably to go go karting in hey... Or maybe they're poor avid golfers?
  23. Why won't a socket work for the HICAS bar? Is the 30mm spanner for taking out the steer arms?
