  1. VCT not working and VCT working, in my Stagea, is VERY noticable.
  2. Might be a stretch but the parts guy (Steve) at Northside Nissan here in Perth is VERY good at what he does and he has a GTR himself so he is an enthusiast too! No idea if he'd be willing to ship anything to the US but it wouldn't hurt to ask.. +61 9409 0120 and our timezone is GMT+8
  3. Pulled the fans and intercooler/piping off yesterday. Degreased + highpressured the piping/cooler and the engine bay then cleaned the cooler core out with some thinners. This afternoon the cooler/piping and fans will go back on and probably trim the front bar and bolt that up too. Radiator was ordered yesterday Clutch was inspected and deemed to need an overhaul kit.. ~$650 for the kit but not available until next month!! So looks like I'm going to grab a new Exedy button clutch instead. Ordered my tensioners and idler this morning from Statewide Bearings, NSK part numbers, VERY reasonable prices! The only unknown at the moment is injectors... anyone got some GTR injectors for about $100?
  4. I'm keen for brekky tomorrow.
  5. f**k I raged hardcore last night at the Dream Car World Championship or whatever it's called.
  6. Yep. Was ages ago and IIRC it was around the purchase price of the pump.
  7. 040 has an integral pickup. 044, as it's meant to be an external pump, requires some fittings and a sock filter. 040 - easier to fit, may be slightly cheaper. 044 - slightly harder to fit, flows more, stock-type filter setup. Can also get it lower in the tank without issues.
  8. Hyperdrive did mine. *044 is normally an external pump
  9. Kept the centre bearing from the 32 shaft, bolted 33 front half to it. Did the job putting around to work but it was horribly unbalanced. New shaft was a custom 2-piece with a brand new slip yoke, centre bearing and spicer unis.
  10. Nice work Wogan Front brakes are on! It was rolling for about 5 mins (smoke break), now back end is in the air and the handbrake shoes are off for rebonding before they go back on with new rotors and pads
  11. As a quick fix for a short time I got away with bolting the front half of the 33gtst shaft to the rear half of the 32gtst shaft (I was waiting for my big custom shaft to be finished). You could just do this and get it balanced, I don't think new centre bearings (for piece of mind) are very expensive either.
  12. If that model of car has the ABS sensor on the tailshaft side of things then probably yes, but if the model has the ABS sensors on the halfshafts, then no.
  13. Pivot ball? When you push the pedal down, does it stay down?
  14. Hyperdrive or Autoworx? dunno how much they know about V35's but I trust Andy at Hyperdrive to tune my car. Not a fan of C-RED but will not elaborate in public.
  15. No Will likely be spending Sunday cleaning out my cooler and pipes.
  16. The housing and gears in my 32 are S13 items with an 32 back plate, not aware if there is a difference in input shaft length between ABS and non-ABS for S13s.
  17. Cool, ordered one today so still need 2 more people.. of any type of board!
  18. Wiring all sorted, gauges mounted, interior back together. Have to make a couple more brackets for the fans and wait for my brakes to dry
  19. Autowhatnow?
  20. Nice!! Can I get a sound out for NIStune interest please? -BigJim -Blizzerd -gersfan -Darq Have another person who is about to order one so if you know of someone else who wants a board, it doesn't matter what type it is for the group buy, get them on board
  21. It's not a showcar if that's what you're thinking! But under the skin she's built to take a beating No build threads, but a lot of shared ideas
  22. Why would I do that? The 30 was running as my daily for a couple of years, pulled it out to put some stronger rods and other stuff in, just didn't expect to break the wagon while it was still in pieces It's going back together with a stock bottom end, ASR sump, my custom forward facing plenum/Q45 throttlebody and the highflow off the wagon. In order to be a tightass, we're knocking up some spacers so I can use some old Neo injectors that I have lying around (after a clean), 370cc should be plenty for the highflow as I'm not exactly going to be leaning on it very hard.. whatever it makes at 1bar of boost will be fine for a while. List of things to do: -Bolt reconditioned front callipers back on (as soon as chuckie brings them round ) -Get clutch cleaned & inspected (HKS twin for cheap cheap.. hopefully it's ok! heh) -Bolt head & ancillaries on to block (easy) -Drop engine in car (easy) -Get my mate to weld a pipe to throttlebody (hard) -Fit NIStune board to ECU (easy) Interior will be back together this arvo and the thermo fans will be mounted and wired. Already got all my top end gaskets, just waiting for spigot bush and throwout bearing to arrive. Can put engine together but can't drop it in until I have those. Once the brakes are on it can come off the axle stands, carport position swapped with the wagon and wagon turbo removed. Then really I'm just waiting on workshop availability which should be this weekend! Not bothering to book in for a tune until it's all together though.
  23. Yes, I used the part numbers in this thread to buy shims for my 32gtst diff.
  24. Nah dude, both cars aren't going at the moment. Sunday I hope to be bolting the engine back together!
