  1. Solder it in and drive away
  2. What, with its' -40mm lift kit?
  3. Not really, maybe a new fork pivot.. I've snapped one of them before
  4. Well I went the other way, I put a centre from my non-ABS 32 into my ABS wagon housing but had to use the 32s' half shafts as the wagons open centre half shafts were too small for the VLSD centre, I pressed off the ABS teeth and pressed them onto the non-ABS half shafts. So if both centres are R200 VLSD units, either shafts should fit as there is no difference in length between the ABS and non-ABS shafts, the teeth are just a collar.
  5. I'd like to know what a Station Sedan is on my Stageas papers.
  6. Which one is it? they are completely different problems.. Spigot bush sounds like a really high pitched squeal whenever clutch is pushed in (flywheel now turning at a different speed to the input shaft, dry bearing catches). Box out, fit $10 spigot bush. Input shaft bearing, when mine went, was a pretty severe rythmic thumping when accelerating in all gears. New box or recon.
  7. Ahhhh the days of sittin ya car on its' balls! Yeah it was cool, but the best thing I did handling wise (other than some bigass swaybars) was raise mine up! Griff, is that a GTR lip on a GTSt bar?
  8. Are you sure? because looking at the factory maps they run the same sort of TP Load limit (afm cut) as the earlier models but the values seem to have a little more meat in them.
  9. IIRC the bit immediately around the shift should just pop out. Have to take the knob off though and I think put it in D. Other than that it should just be clips.
  10. Use whatever harness suits the head and ECU, then as Simon said
  11. Need 6 people, so far I think there is 3 plus a 4th who's wanting to go ahead regardless of the groupbuy.
  12. You could probably dial it out with suspension settings but that's a fairly hefty kink in the subframe.. it will probably drive like a crab.
  13. Makes the car so much more drivable! I was having big issues with flaring on the 1-2 change though, due to the Haltech not communicating with the TCM.
  14. Yeah ditto
  15. Nope, it will work with the standard latch but it's a bit of a bastard to open. When I went over the pits they made me modify it because they couldn't open the bonnet themselves I just removed it, locked it in the vice and bent the release tab over so it was more accessible.
  16. Nah man, that's a stock Type-M in that picture. Pic of bomex bar below. I lent my stock bar to a guy to go over the pits and he sold the car with my bar on it. After mucho stalking he gave me the bomex bar as a replacement. Was going to repair it and paint it up but cbf, going to throw a stocker back on.
  17. Took them back to bare metal and will give them a coat of clear
  18. Pop the shifter surround out, they probably didn't plug the switch back in. As for not having 4th gear when cold, that's normal.
  19. Just paid for my top end gaskets and they're being delivered this arvo, gotta paint my front calipers this weekend and put them back on, put the dash back together then off to the workshop.. not long till she lives again!
  20. Pull type?! Mine is push type (R33 RB25t box) and I know I need to use the smaller diameter bearing, just trying to sus out which carrier I can use.. standard RB25DET or shorter..
  21. Just wondering if anyone is able to confirm for me that the parts to use are (after much investigation and confusion).. Bearing - 30501-U0200 Carrier - 30502-14601 Need to order the correct parts, any help is mucho appreciated
  22. Kark and I are catching up for lunch tomorrow if anyone is interested.
  23. meh.. 4 points in 4 years I'm not doing too bad. You know I'm not shy and I had a full license before the weekend
  24. Nah in-car radar.
  25. Have heard a few scary stories but with the volume of work they get through, some of those stories don't surprise me. They are also the only mob that would weld my crank up.
