  1. The build quality is worth the wait, I was really impressed when I opened the box.
  2. If it's your daily and you're worried about all that stuff, then just shim up your stocker. Or.. Don't be a pussy. My 32 was daily driven with a button clutch and 2-way for a couple of years.. good times
  3. Put a decent fuel pump in and then talk to your tuner to see why it is nosing over at 6000rpm.
  4. KEEN AS Someone take the initiative and organise something already. If anyone is keen for an impromtu cruise Friday night, let me know
  5. Genuine OEM RB20 water pump. The N1 water pumps are designed for engines regularly spending most of their life over 7000rpm.
  6. AFAIK the Lewis Engines ones are just extra capacity, they don't mention anything about baffles/gates. I have teh ASR one and it is an awesome bit of kit (they make them for High Energy), I can't comment on fitment yet but it will be going on in a few weeks.
  7. Well now that you're in civilisation (somewhat), that should make it a bit easier! I might be up for a SW run this weekend.. it's a long weekend isn't it? I've got training Saturday and then we were going to head to Bunno to catch up with some mates.. I could be convinced to hit some fun SW roads
  8. If it's too loud, you're too old.
  9. +11ty Also, I hate autos but this tiptronic is pretty nice, unless teh car is cold on the way to work I'm always in tiptronic and you select the gear you want when you want. The only downside is occaisionally you're going just a little too fast to put it in 1st (and it's laggy as hell exiting a corner in 2nd with a highflow and no VCT).
  10. I'll address the intercooler issue.. you can bolt up a whole 32R intercooler/piping/bov setup including the plumback pretty easily, I only had to drill one hole for a vacuum hose. Have to make sure you get EVERYTHING though(all brackets, bulkhead fittings, rubber pipes etc), have a search for a 32GTR workshop manual, there is an exploded diagram of the intercooler and turbo piping setup which helped me a lot when installing.
  11. I love the tiptronic box in my Stagea, with a mild shift kit (welsh plugs) it's really nice to drive, slow or hard.. much nicer in traffic on the way to work than my button clutched, 2-way'd, stiffly sprung 32
  12. Just have to remove (or bash flat) the crank scrapers at the rear of the sump otherwise the 30 crank will smash them to pieces.
  13. It's a Friday morning because most of us who usually do this work in town so catch up before heading to work P.S. I'm in.
  14. Wow is that all brand spanker OEM balancers cost?? I paid $700odd for my ATI balancer
  15. R32 runs 100% to the rear then splits up to 50% to the front when needed. R33 and R34 run 95% rear 5% front, the splits up to 50% to the front when needed. There is a procedure in the workshop manual for putting in to RWD (in the 33GTR manual, I use the same process on my Stagea). The manual states either drop the front prop shaft OR, disconnect the airbleed plug (inside the drivers kick panel), start car and push brake pedal 5 times, 4WD light starts flashing to tell you you're in RWD mode. Have a good search, I have posted this up quite a few times and regardless of what anyone says, myself and others over here have PROVEN that it works. It works so well that I've actually put a switch in my centre console and drive around every day in RWD.
  16. Good luck! You'll love it!
  17. Have a look at them when you do the interior and let me know what you think. I think they look shit and I dearly wish someone made glass lenses for them.
  18. RWD or AWD? If you're talking about putting RB26 baffles in a standard RB30 sump then no.. they are completely different designs. If you want a nice RWD sump then look at ASR, High Energy, Lewis Engines etc.
  19. Snaffle me an XR6T turbo
  20. Glad you don't work there anymore!
  21. What a nice fellow.
  22. LOL nice ad. I was about to say ring Steve at Northside Nissan, top bloke and very helpful.
  23. Andy at Hyperdrive and Sean at ASG are my picks. Also, never heard of NIStune having a launch control feature Matt from NIStune visits these forums quite regularly, find the NIStune thread in the Forced Induction area and post up any questions in there.
