  1. On my 32 I run 33gtst calipers on dogbones to fit 324mm (33gtr) DBA4000 rotors, DS2500 pads, braided lines and a master cyl stopper. Way more braking than street tyres can handle (haven't run full slicks so can't comment on that). They BARELY fit under 34GTT rims, there was like 1mm of clearance from outside of caliper to inside of wheel.
  2. Throw it in the bin. Ditching it from my 32 was one of the best things I did, my Stagea didn't even come with it.
  3. That's not the point, is anyone posting here in the Ace Ford Club?
  4. In the skyline world a "crossover pipe" refers to the pipe that crosses over the engine to go to the standard clamshell intake manifolds on RB20/25's. Also sometimes referred to as a J-pipe (due to its' shape).
  5. Wonder how many people would rock up if I charged $20/map to raise money for my paintball club?
  6. Dude, it will be normal Consult. It won't be any different to all the other series 2 C34 Stageas which is pretty much an R34GTT as far as engines go. Personally, I wouldn't trust any of this app shit as far as I could throw it. I'm running a consult cable from plmsdevelopments, plugged in to a carpc running Nissan Datascan which gives me proper diagnostics and active tests.
  7. [quote name=ClutchBurndout-' timestamp='1299721154' post='5707461] there would be no point upgrading the crossover pipe unless you were upgrading the throttle body to ^^ this. No point in upgrading any of the cold side piping unlesss going to a bigger throttlebody.
  8. I think you have to worry more about clashing with the engine mount that strut tower.
  9. Yeah was going to say the 4WD's don't have traction control.. that is essentially what the ATESSA system is
  10. You sure? Mine is the same OBD1 cable and version of Datascan (there is an OBD2 version) that I have been using since I first got my R32GTSt and it works on my series 2 C34 Stagea.. Edit: From www.plmsdevelopments.com (where I got my cable and copy of Datascan, also the same guys that make NIStune but under a different banner). So the connector may look the same but I'm 99.99% sure C34 is OBD1 protocol.
  11. No it doesn't, it is still OBD1 (I'm running OBD1 Datascan), M35's are OBD2 I believe..
  12. +1 for the 20deg, pretty sure I found it in a workshop manual when I was trying to figure out why mine wasn't working (turned out to be wrong water temp sensor so it wasn't getting up to temp enough to engage).
  13. It was for you and no they were not machined, bolted straight on no worries, just have to make sure you lever the caliper as far out as it can go as you tighten the bolts.
  14. I had issues with a cheap china radiator, it would keep temps under control for a little while then to me it seemed like it was getting heatsoaked and the temps would just steadily increase (no HG problems, fresh engine). Ended up ditching it in favour of a 32R radiator.. then she would take a good +2mins at 6000rpm on a burnout pad in 40deg heat without throwing any coolant out or going over 105deg. So not a fan of cheap ally radiators.
  15. I haven't even had a chance to fire up GT5 in weeks I'm down for a Stagea cup.. I've got a few stock examples in my garage.. now do I mod the black 260RS or the Sonic Silver RS4?
  16. I didn't say "better", I said if fast and comfortable was all the mattered then that is what the choice would be. Don't treat me like a v8 driving, VB swilling bogan. I love my Nissans and won't be straying from the marque anytime soon.
  17. Yep, if you really want 4WD, it's cheaper and easier to buy a GTS4 and swap all your go fast bits over.
  18. Nice, tell them to say so on their website then. All it says is "extra volume"..
  19. I also give credit where credit is due, evo's just aren't my thing If I wanted a newish car and to go fast and had a budget of 40-50k.. I'd probably be going for an LSx commonwhore with an exhaust, cam and tune.
  20. All good and well if you like driving small, front wheel drive based (east-west engine?? bleagh!) hairdressers cars!
  21. What were we talking about again? I might organise an "invite only" cruise
