yeh once the inside of the exhaust gets filled with that black soot stuff, it works as an inslator. giving a nice deeper note, and quieting that drone. Could be the soot, but it may also be water in the resonator. You can if you give them your VIN Give either Ferntree Gully Nissan or Frankston Nissan a call

Where on the transfer case is it leaking from? Personally I am not much of a fan of mixing fluids, so I guess if you are just "topping it up" get the Matic J

Nice Matic J can be purchased from any Nissan dealership... or you could get the Nulon fluid which is compatible with both Matic D and Matic J (so you can use it in your transmission, transfer case, power steering and ATTESSA)

Just remember to factor in a couple of grand for when the turbo lets go. Regardless of whether you keep it stock or mod it, it will die. +11ty. But being that there were only 2 available when I got mine (the other had cloth trim and no navi), I had no choice

I guess the fact that another NM35 with aero kit, Nismo suspension and exhaust, Navi, sunrooves etc etc recently was sold for around the $2-3k mark as a "wreck" (bit of damage to the front - engine still fine as is the rest of the car from the front wheels back) would explain why nobody has bought this one yet Kris. Having driven both in stock trim (I nearly bought an S2 C34 a couple of weeks before the M35's were available) I can tell you that a stock M35 has it all over a stock C34's (barring the 260RS of course). I left disappointed by the power delivery of the stock S2's that I drove (haven't driven an S1 so can't comment). The M35's do have a throttle restriction below 3000rpm which can be annoying, but the torque is a massive difference, the VQ25det has heaps of it. I personally like the more moden look of the M35 (obviously) and they do look a lot better in the flesh than in pics. Interior is nicer, has more room inside (no rear strut towers), is quieter and has a better 2.5L engine

On a semi-related note, I thought it was "okay" until I bought my black LFA I know it isn't the fastest car or the best handling car, but getting pics of a semi-sideways approach to a downhill corner with the exhaust flaming is worthy in every sense of the word

Pfffft Yeah you can get more mods for the C34, but you can't fit as much stuff in it as an M35!
