  1. I seem to remember that when when playing around with a Consult 2 it came back with the P0235 error although the CEL hadn't lit up. I cleared the error using the Consult hand set and it has not popped up over the past year and a bit. Try clearing the code before getting up to your elbows in engine bay. If it is a problem, the code will pop up again either straight away or after a drive.
  2. Don't like people disagreeing with you much do you Jason? You did ask for other people's thoughts in your initial post, but I digress. Perhaps you need to do a bit more research into the VQ35 options available in the US, there are a wealth of options from minor mods to 4.2L stroker kits to fully built Cosworth engines. Much more available than the old VH V8's. If you want to go V8 because want a V8 that's different. But why not look at an LS1? Cheaper and can make 600+hp in its sleep

    Hood Air Intake

    +1
  4. I know, but you could still remove the HDD from the stuffed PS3, put it in the new PS3, perform the backup to an external HDD then put the original HDD back in the new PS3 and "restore"
  5. erm, doesn't the "backup" utility do this? I upgraded to a 500GB HDD and all my save games went across no worries. Just needed to re-sync the trophies.
  6. White S1 in Frankston around 2:30pm today. Clean car, looked and sounded stock. Mum and daughter on board.
  7. Hahaha, there goes dirtyRS4 doing what he can to start arguments. Of course a 4.5L with a turbo or two strapped to it will give more power than a 2.5L with a turbo. 600hp? No problem on a VQ25, VQ35, VK45... how much cash you throwing at it? Hell, even old tractor engines can do 600hp with enough cash thrown at them.
  8. Punctuation would help people understand what you are saying. Nobody likes reading walls of text.
  9. Should be fine, can you load up that web page? Anyway, here is a link to the Youtube clip that is on www.m35stagea.info
  10. Sounds good to me. Only just picked up my second driver (don't get much time to play ) and made sure he was a hothead. My coolheaded driver doesn't allow me to walk away from a single B-spec race. Even in the early races against 300ZX's etc he becomes so complacent in the 650+hp LFA that he will drop his half lap lead and let others overtake him. Looking forward to just letting a driver drive on his own.
  11. No dude, WINDSCREEN de mister, not a second button for the rear de mister. As Kiwi said above (now why didn't I make it that clear to start with )
  12. At a guess, in-car sat phone? That switch may be a windscreen de-mister. Some actually came with a windscreen demister as a factory option.
  13. Is there a reason you are feeding a shit stirrer? Best left ignored.
  14. Search is your friend, especially regarding the Syncro/Snow button http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/321432-new-stagea-owner-m35/page__view__findpost__p__5245280 Fog lights are yellow and not white because they are fog lights. White lights light up fog like a wall in front of your car whereas yellowish lights can penetrate it somewhat. Globes? Again, a search for M35 Fog Light Bulb returned 1 thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/265907-m35-bulb-type/page__p__4540014__hl__m35+fog+light+bulb__fromsearch__1#entry4540014
  15. I managed to squeeze you in at the 11th hour Darren All kits have been shipped, tracking numbers supplied and group buy has ended. Thanks to all for prompt payments, had a good turnout of 8 orders (6 received) and hopefully the last 2 orders receive their kits before Christmas. Cheers.
  16. SEC 275 is a reference to which section in FAST the part is located (Section #275), and really helps when navigating the pictures. The 11925M is a FAST part reference but not the actual part number. Anyway, here is the pic for section 275, so I can only presume that the assembly highlighted is what you are after (although it does look a little small in the pic). You can see below the illustration that there are two part numbers for this assembly 11925-AG300 and 11925-AG30A. Only 11925-AG300 brings up our VQ25det in Parts Master so go with that, although it may have been superseded by the 11925-AG30A part which brings up VQ35de and VQ25dd, ie series 2 M35's.
  17. has some what? Reverse light covers in the Stagea Classifieds section
  18. Won't be much lighter (if any) than our stock aluminium bonnets... but if you are just after the "cred" then that's another story There is one advertised on Yahoo, they have been on there for well over a year selling them. They're green too!
  19. What? HERE is his F&F style website, although I did catch some of his mods in a blog elsewhere (be stuffed if I can find it in my favourites)
  20. It helps to quieten it quite a bit (although I have not cut it off my Nismo to check - nor will I). Here are a couple of clips I put up using a digi camera. As you can see/hear, neither are particularly loud. Both have a very, very similar design although the pipe to the resonator is angled slightly differently and the rear muffler is completely different.
  21. It is more due to the design of the Legalis (and the original Nismo for that matter). You can see in the pic below that there is a resonator off to the right of the main pipe, this is the one I am referring to. For some reason, it is quite normal for this to have some water in it after a bit of use (have even seen some guys state it is the reason they have put them up for sale on Yahoo - bit dramatic if you ask me)
  22. Do you mean this (red) one Dunc?
  23. Egzacary, hence my comment Too bad we can't find a similarly detailed website for the guy with the Teps 3.6L VQ25det Axis (450ps at all four wheels)
  24. Just enter the url in google translate then. You will end up with this http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http://oyajiworld.ojaru.jp/m35/index.htm Enjoy
