  1. Not cheap for a second hand unit (going price is usually around the $500 mark due to lack of tuners), but I am interested. Can you post up a pic of the serial number?
  2. Really? Anyway, Sougi S6000 is definitely an equivalent to Motul (I used Motel almost exclusively for most of my M35's life here in Aus, but found that for half the price - or less - that the Sougi performed at least as well as 300v). If you MUST go with Motul, then perhaps contact Trent @ Status Tuning, I believe he sells it cheaper than the auto outlets.
  3. Nice shots Big Fella! Sucks that you can't change wheels on a non-premium car though
  4. Just thought I would chuck in a few DIY VQ links Engine oil http://m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=63 Spark Plugs http://m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=64 Belt Change http://m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=88 Have a Diff (piss easy) and a Transmission (easy) thread to put up, but have not yet gotten around to it. Accessing Fault Codes http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11&p=44#p44 Error Code List http://m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12
  5. LMAO! For the airbox filter perhaps
  6. No problemo
  7. Abused it by dumping all of Shits Corner's barbed wire, pipe, concrete and fence posts in at taken to the tip. Much cardboard used to protect the interior and control the wire I really need a trailer... or a ute
  8. M35 uses the same panel filter as the following V35 E51 Elgrande J31 Maxima G10 Pulsar (2000-2003) R34 Skyline S15 Sylvia T30 X-Trail Z33 350z (2002 - 2007) C34 Stagea
  9. Likewise, then took it for an oil change and a quick spin. Man, what a slug... sorta expected when compared to the Tommy Kaira ZZ-2 though
  10. Schwert SC1 and AVS T7's work IMO, all the others look a little boring (The Nismo GT4's need to be bigger on an M35 - like Petrodola's) Nice find though, interesting to see some of the styling over there.
  11. Yep, 1bar will be fine for your M35's engine. RS from factory run about 0.8bar (11.6psi) and it would seem that the ARX comes from factory running around 1bar (14psi) - maybe due to the extra weight? Keep in mind that the turbo WILL pack it in at some point, whatever pressure you run, but once it is rebuilt 19psi for everyday driving is fine (just keep the engine temps down as much as possible)
  12. Indeed there is Leon and yes, they will be for that price assuming we get 10 (not far off at the moment) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/344710-hdi-intercooler-kit-for-m35-stagea/
  13. Yep, $265 I think was what I paid (included the additives satchel that Nissan put in all their new automatic cars)
  14. 1. see the link in my previous post for the Nismo thermostat (ebay motors may have them also for 350z) 2. We have covered it in another thread, but be very mindful when getting a radiator from the US. They state "Z33/G35" but they not the same item. You NEED a G35 unit and NOT a Z33 (unless you are willing to get it modified)
  15. IF the wiring is there, yes they will. If the car did not come with the 3 gauge cluster, then there will be no wiring for it as far as I know. Yahoo Auctions has 1 or 2 stock gauge clusters and 1 Nismo gauge cluster (I want but can't get - along with 11,348 other items ) +1... or perhaps the previous owner had the clarion single DIN with storage space and wanted a "better" head unit.
  16. LOL... so says the pot
  17. Nismo VQ thermostat on RHD http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-low-temp-the...at-vq35de-55791 Use the search parameters for vehicle type on the right of the page
  18. It is sitting here waiting for you mate
  19. Andy would probably be the better one to ask for a figure Dale, I can only go by the stock gauge which is a little lower than when using the stock thermostat. Of course if I had an Informeter, I would have a figure for you - thus referring the question to Andy (as he brings this thread back on topic )
  20. Easiest way to do DIY though is check the level when warm (trans warm, not engine warm), drain, measure the amount that came out and top up with that same amount of fresh fluid. Then you can either 1. Do it again in a week to minimise the content of "old fluid" (easy/safer way, but time consuming/more costly) or 2. Detach the radiator "in" transmission line, turn the car on and slowly put more new fluid in the dipstick tube (at about the same rate as what comes out the radiator line) while a mate monitors the colour of the fluid that comes out. Once it has a nice colour to it, stop pouring and put that radiator line back on, run it through all gears and check fluid level. Top up if necessary. (this is a more thorough way of getting the old fluid out, but can be difficult to sync the pouring and draining AND can be quite easy to over-fill)
  21. It is a little more that a Chinese unit, but they use great core's, workmanship is of high quality and a full custom radiator for just over $700 ain't too bad IMO. PLUS I still have my old one which you can take to the to use as a template (to in-tank trans though - it is in my current radiator) 68c I guess you were looking at a US site? The Mishimoto VQ35 thermostat opens at 62c... which causes all kinds of issues for our cars, doesn't it Scott! There are a few of us running the Nismo units with no issues whatsoever. Mine has been in for over a year and a half with no concerns
  22. The spacers in your link don't seem to be hub-centric at all.... accidentally linked to the wrong ones they sell?
  23. For a full flush - around 10L (give or take a few hundred ml) Fill from empty = 8.3L (from memory) hmm... I really should get to posting that trans service thread at www.m35stagea.info
  24. Should be doing so in this GB
  25. Good to hear it's back on the road Craig Be interesting to see what Cihan can do with the eManage and the Nismo ECU next week Nah, don't do that
