  1. The Powerduct? You can get it anywhere... try Nissan if you want to part with ~$180... or offer one of the V35 guys money for theirs Or you could make your own with single sided adhesive rubber yes, they plug straight into our airbox (I have one - freebee from a friend)
  2. Nah, it is looking like the F-con will have a tuner in Melb soon.... possibly
  3. Installed an 8 point earthing kit and, yes, including the transmission bracket when earthing an M35 makes a bit of difference to gear shifts (still nowhere near a shift kit obviously)
  4. PM sent
  5. Go the 3.5L V6 Magna. They are effortless to drive and are very happy cruising, but are equally good in stop-start. My wife has the 4-speed tiptronic TJ and it handles the daily grind with ease (she drives 30mins highway to and from work each day). They are very, very easy to service (I use Mobil 1 4w40 and Nulon 100% synthetic ATF) and are very reliable - although the head unit in our froze, but is very, very easy to replace. Plugs are pretty easy to replace as Mad said. I just chucking a set of iridiums in both banks so set-and-forget for about 120,000kms or so. Only negative is that they have considerable understeer at speed.
  6. Voted for ya Dean, very nice looking Stag Bit pretentious though? "...AND WITHOUT EXCEPTION MINE IS THE BEST LOOKING PERFORMANCE ESTATE IN THE UK AT PRESENT" No RS6 Avant's in the UK?
  7. All remap services are a re-flash... not so much a chip from what I have gathered... oh, and it is hard enough to get them to respond to a remap request with the requirements laid out in an email, let alone getting in a conversation with them about selling one of their readers. G-Zone don't require your car, nor do Mine's, Impul, Ks etc.... only Nismo do (Damnit!)
  8. Looks pretty close actually. That said, it would be an expensive gamble, but I am sure if needed the shield could be "persuaded" to fit. Dalton, you got anywhere you can try one on to see if it will fit like a retailer/performance shop etc?
  9. LOL You should be able to edit up to a couple of minutes after posting... and yes, Fast is around 1.5GB Slightly different spring and damper rates to the standard RS and RX suspension (same ride height though).
  10. Should be free
  11. Yep, this one should be about all you need. Rims and tyre calculator
  12. hmm... Hdi's kit should set you back around the $800 mark. Can't remember if that included shipping or not though. Also, the HD' GT2 core is significantly more efficient than the Blitz unit
  13. Nup, if you have a good tuner for it the FCON is the preferred piggyback for M35 considering it has a plug and play harness for VQ25det. Problem is finding a tuner that ISN'T in Sydney For HDi's contact details, see the other thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=5445568
  14. Don't worry mate, you have P.L.E.N.T.Y of time before the flash is ready (IF it is EVER ready)
  15. lol... 2 went through prior to yours and for around the same money too. The one on there now is way too expensive IMO
  16. Cat in the stock dump is too restrictive? Oh, you must be referring to this then Yes Dunc. Change your sump pipe ASAP! Either get in on the group buy unit or preferrably, talk to Scotty about one of his dump/front pipe units
  17. Point of reference, my Nismo exhaust took 15mins to bolt on to my Stagea... including time taken to put the car up on the ramps. Why so quick? Japanese "bolt on" is exact. In comparison the Stillen took us about an hour and some not-so-subtle persuasion (large rubber mallet) to fit it in place. Nothing at all went wrong with the install. Yep, very true, The Yanks definitely have done more for the VQ35 than any any other nation and if you are going to build an engine, the US is where you turn... but for bits like exhaust, suspension etc you seriously can't go past the Japanese for quality, performance and fitment.
  18. Nah, definitely not a duel intake plenum. It was an add-on for a turbo kit where the intercooler piping went from the turbo on the right side (looking at the front of the car) down into a large front mount, then out of it and straight up the left side of the engine... much like my Stagea's intercooler piping. Reason? The Stagea's plenum and runners are considerably smaller than the 3.5's but it looks like the VQ35's items could bolt on to the VQ25det. Thus to maintain the most direct path for the intercooler piping, I would need the V35/Z33 plenum that has the inlet pointing left instead of right.
  19. May have something to do with the exhaust? I know that Craig has 3" from the turbo back, so less restriction. Can't remember what you have Dunc (is it just the group buy dump and stock exhaust?)
  20. Just the passenger side bank mate. If the driver's side bank isn't leaking, don't bother replacing it... Reason being that there are built in seals in the cam covers which stop oil from going into the spark plug holes. These seals can break. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it in this instance If the seal is busted, you will have to buy a new cam cover... and they go for around $300 each
  21. Nissan Part #13270-AL612 Should be around $20 and will have to come from Japan (10 day lead time)
  22. As chook said, check the oil level... but you should know that a common complaint with the VQ25det is that the passenger side bank will leak oil from under the cam cover. It may be leaking and dripping onto the turbo which could explain the smoke. "Simple" solution is to have the gasket under the cam cover replaced. If the previous owner went nuts with the degreaser, might that actually be what you are smelling?
  23. Hey guys, I am looking for a V35/Z33 plenum which has the inlet (where the throttle body bolts on) bending around to the drivers side instead of the usual passenger side bend. I saw one that was available in the US a while ago but cannot find it now. Any of you guys seen one in your internet travels? If so, where did you see it?
  24. A1RM's will stop you significantly quicker than the HPX's will from experience... I have noticed that the A1RM's are a damn sight dustier though!
  25. Different front bar. Dalton's is the Type 1, your pic is the Type 2 front bar from the Impul 535W (have always been a fan of that pic though
