You can get navi screen, dual sun roof and leather on all models. Just the leather varies on each. Instance - my 2001 RS has navi screen, reversing camera, heated elec seats, black leather interior etc... basically every normal option except sun roof (which I would love to have) and rear LSD. I think I recall Andy saying that the English conversion for the series 2 should be available this year...

Why do you have to wait for it to be released in Europe? PS3 games are universal (ie a US/Jap/AUS etc game will work on a European PS3 and vice versa) ....unless of course you view posting such a question and then "by the way"-ing a link to a website is a free way to promote your website

Context? I was referring to the stock that Northshore have currently.

lol... can't see that reply PM come through. Speedyg, depending on what model Stagea you are looking at, click on the links below; M35 Insurance C34 Insurance The search function is a good one (although I imagine you can use it having dug up a 4 year old thread! ) Alternatively you could always call up an insurance company and request a quote...

My Stagea Featured In Japanese Performance Magazine (uk)
iamhe77 replied to RSVFOURUK's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Looks really nice mate! Is it actually a Tomei engine? -
Have you not checked out the PM35's that Northshore have in stock? All of the Axis models are RWD, the 350RX is AWD and obviously the ARX is AWD. The 3.5L that was used for passing emissions was a RWD. ...or have I missed something in my semi-conscious state this morning?

I think you mean AUTO.
-
Fixed The 2.5 turbo is quicker from a rolling start due to having much more torque and is cheaper to get more greater power out of. The 3.5 is quicker from a standing start and has much, much more in the way of off-the-shelf mods available for it. You can only get the 3.5 from Northshore Prestige. Not that is should be a problem as they are a fantastic dealership.

No good Steve! Fair bit of damage but better the car than you. Glad you're not hurt. Going the pink next time?

Tranny/engine Oil Cooler
iamhe77 replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
No, I am suggesting that you will have to cut away some of the lower support to fit the larger radiator. Shouldn't be much, and I dare say it will be far less than you are envisioning... more like "shaving" some of the protruding parts of the support. Get the radiator. Get the heat exchanger installed. Get a small hacksaw blade and try to put the radiator in as is. If it doesn't fit, look at where it is fouling and shave a little off that and try again etc etc Seriously, nowhere near as bad as I am sure you are thinking and you will be able to fit it into the stock mounts in the end. -

Tranny/engine Oil Cooler
iamhe77 replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Basically.... yes. BUT I would imagine with a core and end tanks that large, some modification to the support structure on the car will be necessary (very easy to do, just need a hacksaw blade as it is all that glass composite stuff) -
Tranny/engine Oil Cooler
iamhe77 replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Easier to do with aluminium end tanks as they can just be cut and re-welded (my stock heat exchanger only just fit in my radiator end tank) Any decent radiator shop should be able to do this for you. The reason I went with the stock exchanger is due to the distance between inlet/outlet barbs. The barbs on the PWR units that Race Radiators use are way to close together. -

Tranny/engine Oil Cooler

G35 - yes Z33? Well keep in mind that the radiator cap is on the opposite side for the 350z so it may foul in your intake funnel... unless you are running a good pod setup in which case you probably don't need the funnel Better to still have the in-tank cooler as it also helps warm up the trans fluid to operating temp in winter. I originally didn't have an in-tank cooler with my custom radiator - I ran 2 aftermarket trans coolers instead - but it took so long for the trans fluid to come up to temp that by the time it did hit proper operating temp... I was at work... and my trip to work is 65kms one-way lol One solution is to get a larger radiator, take it and your stockie to a radiator shop and have them install the stock in-tank "cooler" into the aftermarket one. Should only be around the $120-140 mark. You won't regret that decision, let me tell you! As an aside, I have heard nothing but good things about the ASI radiators... mind you, all I have heard is from a very small group of people. I should add that you will probably need to cut away at the glass composite that the bottom of the radiator sits on to fit one that large. Can't see why not. Just don't over-cool the fluid -
How Many Kms In Your Car?
iamhe77 replied to Love350GT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
lol... definitely possible. In fact there was an auction on Yahoo Auctions earlier this year for a device that allowed the V35/M35 odo to be wound back to whatever you wanted. -
Tranny/engine Oil Cooler
iamhe77 replied to 180 wanabe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
^ On the money. V35 5-speed does not have an external trans cooler (just the one in the radiator), V35 GT8 does have an external trans cooler. If you are participating in sprint days in the summer, definitely look at a larger radiator... -
Available Compliance Workshops
iamhe77 replied to Glitch's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
lol... we don't hate you for it Alex, it is a newer model so it should be more rounded. Best be careful with other brokers advertising the availability of the PM35 Stagea's... I seem to recall J-Spec have advertised on two separate occasions that Stagea's were available when they clearly weren't (2004 build VQ25det - cannot pass emissions and they advertised the VQ35de Stageas availability last year based on a dodgy workshop lol) Just raising it so past mistakes are not repeated by buyers that are unaware of the situation. -
^ Nice Alex! That is a little more than mine was pushing out when stock (10psi boost). Now where is that intake/exhaust setup? The AUS/US dollar is fantastic at the moment!

Available Compliance Workshops
iamhe77 replied to Glitch's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Why don't you call them yourself and ask? I have spoken to Ben recently about having them import a PNM35 for me and how much on top of the FOB price it would cost me, but he very, very reluctant to say... which I take as unwilling to do so. If you prefer a less direct approach to contacting Northshore, register at www.m35Stagea.info and PM him there. As an aside, I have either bought or had a hand in the purchase of 5x M35's from Northshore and have nothing but the best to say about their service and cars. -
Working... and damn fast Thanks Andrew.

Oil Filter For M35 Stagea Auto Axis 2002
iamhe77 replied to samuri's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
^ Oil filters are only too tight to take off if they have been over tightened when installing. Petrodola, I have found that Supercheap stock the same stuff as Autobarn generally... except that Autobarn have the "Drift" product whereas Supercheap have "Calibre". Both of which are shit. Haven't really had a problem with Ryco filters in the past, but would prefer to spend a little bit more and get a filter that does the job better (much like my take on oil). There is much more to an oil filter than just cramming as much basic filter medium in there as possible. Agree with Zei20l, the genuine filters are good enough to do the job (but I am a sucker for superior design and go for either the Nismo NS4 filter or if they are out of stock (very rarely) the HP-1008 K&N filter linked above -
