  1. 350z Touring are the same brakes we have from factory.
  2. Over here, yes. They are re-branded RDA's from what I have been told
  3. 100% agree (I giggled my f**king arse off when his engine let go - may have even punched the air, I can't remember). I can't stand the smug little prick. BUT at this point in their respective careers if you chose one to build your young, billion dollar race team around, it would have to be Vettel. Don't get me wrong, they should be doing all they can to aid Mark in the WDC.... this year
  4. Cool. Well, Pakenham Windscreens do a damn good job. I think the guys name is Phil, he can come to you to fit it. National Windscreens quoted my mate $400 installed, but I don't know about availability O'Brien supposedly have them in stock, but you may have to go without the tint at the top. No idea what the implications of your heated windscreen wiper section is though.
  5. Because if he didn't, he would be a Button-type of driver that relies on the car getting the most out of him instead of him getting the most out of the car. It pisses me off to read crap like that and it was a pretty rubbish time to say it but from a team standpoint, they would be crazy to build around Webber. Yes, Webber's in a good position to take the WDC, but he is at his peak and on the wrong side of 30. Ze-tool is just as fast (if not faster with a clear track) and has another 10 years of serious racing ahead of him. Pretty sure he can learn how to overtake and defend property in 5-8 years (although I am sure he has been racing his whole life and doesn't seem to have grasped it yet )
  6. What part of Melbourne are you in?
  7. 1. Definitely the response from the turbo. With little to no restriction on the exhaust side, it will come on boost harder and earlier. 2. More power throughout the rev range as well although it will be more noticeable in the low and mid revs. Only down side (if you can call it that) is that you may have a little trouble with your turbo getting enough air from the intake... I know I did. Maybe hit him up for a suction pipe as well while you are there on Saturday.
  8. If it is anything like the beastly unit he made for me or the even larger (!!!!) dump pipe he put on his own M35, you will certainly notice quite a difference
  9. Don't you have the engine fan in a 350GT? I know that the sedan has it and that the 350z has rubbish electric fans, but if you do have the viscous engine fan, well, it doesn't stop. Once the engine is running, so is the fan. I you could have a sizeable air lock in your system (very easy with the VQ), maybe your coolant is passed its use-by date or perhaps it is just that the 16mm thick radiator is just not up to scratch (very possible). No harm in getting a Nismo thermostat in there anyway. It will open a bit earlier so will keep your engine a bit cooler and is not what you'd call expensive. Try looking on eBay (Aus), eBay Motors or just get one from RHDJapan
  10. I think you are confused as to which forum we are on, bud!
  11. With an Impul, yes... but not so with the Stock ECU. If I loop the solenoid line and bypass it with the intake line, I max out at 1bar (where I hit the cut) whereas if I leave it plumbed as per stock, I hit around 1.3bar or so before cut
  12. Weak.... and here I was hearing about how "Awesome" you are
  13. Have a look at THIS tyre site. In makes for an interesting compare between brands (of course you will have to check if the tyre is actually available over here) I have Kenda Kaiser's (235/40/18) on my Nismo wheels which have really good grip in the wet and wear very well.... but a soft sidewall The Nankangs on my stock wheels (I dunno their name) have poor grip (plow-understeer in the dry? WTF??). I think that Nankangs are generally not recommended lol
  14. Not in an RX he doesn't (nowhere to put it)
  15. They will charge you through the arse for it, but they shouldn't. It is tricky, but if a couple of non-professionals can take the dump off in about 2-2.5hrs without a hoist, I am sure a pro could get it done in under 2hrs. (and no, it is definitely NOT an engine out deal - I think I forgot to answer that q in your pm, sorry) Dale, you definitely do NOT want to do exactly what Craig has done, mate.
  16. Do it once, do it right mate
  17. Nope, a tractor is too big for getting between the trees.... plus I try to stay away from RB's
  18. Andy and Dale are right on the money here Graham. Couldn't agree more.
  19. Only the "Universal Harness" is suitable for the VQ25det. Greddy decided not to make up an engine specific harness for it Fcon will be much easier to tune for the VQ25det than the eManage as it has a selectable base map in the software which the tuner can then modify as required plus it "dictates" the tune to the engine instead of "modifying" it if you have the V-Pro (so eliminating the stubbornness of our ECU... in theory). I am confident enough to be the guinea pig for an Fcon install... once I get a little more cash for the car (have to shell out around 3.5k for a slasher atm) Yes, indeed.
  20. Yep, same as one of the searches I use (filters out all the guns, microscopes and dresses too ). I have a cargo net sitting in the IM warehouse which you can't have but there are 1 or 2 cargo nets on there at the moment.
  21. ^ Yep. Northshore will definitely ship interstate, perhaps ask them how much shipping will be and take the warranty as well as they have no problem honouring warranty claims for interstate buyers. Their shipping prices are quite reasonable too! Also, they have the most experience with Stagea's in Australia having been selling them for almost 4 years now.
  22. Really? Series 2 definitely has dual zone, but I thought that the ARX had it... oh well, there you go.
  23. On the transmission dipstick, use the existing bolt.
  24. - RS Four so it won't have dual climate control (RX, ARX and Axis did though) - Does look like it has the safety pack (6 airbags) - I would enquire as to what "low km's" are as the rear leather seats look quite used (I have the same leather interior) although they do crease easily if the seats are folded down a lot of the time. - May not have HICAS either due to being an RS, but this may have been an option on the RS - can't remember $16,800 with 12 months rego and 3yr parts and labour Australia wide sounds good.... just make sure it covers the turbo ... and that they service the transmission with the correct fluid (Nissan Matic J) as dextron III compatible fluids with destroy your transmission very, very quickly
  25. Arial is just to let the driver know where the passenger front corner is instead of guessing/estimating If it is a silver M35 in Canberra, it could very well be Houdini's.
