  1. Link? I am unfamiliar with said item
  2. I presume you are referring to the strut brace? I don't think that the S2 V35 brace allows for a plenum spacer.
  3. Black mesh would look better (as would 30mm spacers on your wheels ) Missing the need for HKS stuff
  4. What about Nismo? They use Bilstein to manufacture the kits to Nismo's specs Have you thought about BC's? http://justjap.com/s...productid=19220 The M35 kit is pretty damn nice and great value for money so I can't see why that wouldn't be the case for the V35 kit Teins, while nice, are a bit overpriced IMO. If money is no object, go get some Aragosta or Ohlins.
  5. Want to get rid of the creaking. I reckon it has a bit to do with both the bends in mine and also where it is mounted. Can't fit a strut brace due to the height of the plenum at the moment, so I figure I will give this a go. If it doesn't rid me of the creaking, at least I have added stiffness to my undercarriage
  6. Dale, will be up for one when your next batch is made up.
  7. 80L Same as the NM35 Most I have put in is 74L You can still get about 50kms once the distance to empty readout turns to asterisks
  8. Got a few looks and questions today at Frankston Nissan. Turns out one of their technicians bought an NM35 earlier this year and lurks here. Didn't have time to see his car unfortunately (and vice versa) but would be interested. If you do happen to read this, grab a username and log in!
  9. Yep, got it. Thanks
  10. Interesting. Thanks for the link Bob.
  11. Or if it is a MAF/AFM error from accidentally turning the car on with it unplugged, the CEL will disappear after ~150kms.
  12. "S" denotes that it is a manual
  13. C34 has a lot more off the shelf parts if you are looking to mod. M35 is the quicker car in stock form for sure (I was originally looking at buying a C34 prior to buying my old NM35) unless you are looking at the 260RS. If you want manual, only choice is C34. M35 is much more refined and comfortable as you'd expect from a newer model. Looks are subjective. Perhaps you need to go to a few dealerships and take a few examples of each model for a spin?
  14. Stuff from Japan - RHDJapan, Import Monster and Jesse Streeter. Stuff from US - Concept Z Performance, Z1 Motorsport and eBay Motors
  15. Denso IKH22's. Never had an issue with them and changed them after 100,000kms of my ownership.
  16. https://maps.google....gC&ved=0CHYQtgM EDIT: Bah! Beaten to it by Nightcrawler. At least there are two different links that will bring it up now
  17. It should work. It worked on my 2001 VQ25det Stagea and still works on my 2004 VQ35de Stagea (basically an AWD Series 2 V35... with a nicer nose/body ). Perhaps your timing was a little out. It can be easy to miss-time.
  18. I do like that you can keep track of driving habits/data logging and have it automatically upload said information to your Gmail account each day. Clint, if you are looking at getting one (most of it is in English, try the software out for yourself - it is free), go through Jesse Streeter or "prince_skyline" (Jase). A bit cheaper than Yahoo.

  20. Sounds like an air leak to me. Certainly not something you should be experiencing after installing the phenolic spacer. I did experience a bit of "hunting" (+/- 50rpm) when idling, but that was when I had the alloy spacer in there. None of this with the phenolic spacer.
  21. Just to let you guys know, the battery covers have been shipped out from the US. Will let you know when I have received them and will give you tracking numbers once I ship them to you.
  22. I think he is referring to the non-factory calsonic unit. Seen here on an Impul 535W strangely enough
  23. Sounds okay, but at 225kms from home, I think I'll have to pass
  24. That is exactly where I had mine although the holes were a little different and I used 3/8 rubber hose with rubber grommets in the holes. Nice and tidy You'll also notice that I tried experimenting with a second catch can next to the battery (passenger side breather > catch can > Intake) which did absolutely nothing.
  25. Disagree. I had one of those little (300ml?), hollow Just Jap catch cans (cylinder shape) between my PVC and plenum on the NM35. Every 10,000kms is was about a 20% full of oil. I had it in next to the brake fluid so maybe having the top of the catch can as the highest point between the PCV and plenum return made a difference? I haven't seem catch cans that are situated lower in the line work very well.
