If the VQ25det harness is the NP5-15 and you want to go an HKS ecu, I'd say grab it as it is one of the few left... anywhere. Dunno about a True Dual exhaust for VQ25det. We have a single exhaust due to a single turbo and it is certainly a crap load of work to put dual mufflers since the ATTESSA pump's cradle is where the driver's side muffler would go. Any of the Jap exhausts are cat-back only, although I think that Garage Maki do a full exhaust (or did). Fujitsubo Legalis, Nismo (76mm version), Kakimoto R or Blitz NUR are the pick of Jap branded exhausts IMO, but they are all cat-back so you'd need a dump and front pipe/cat made up to suit. CLICK HERE for a list I made up a couple of years ago and is missing a few units, but you get the idea. Of course the iS will cope with larger injectors. You'll just need a retune when you go larger... as you would with an eManage Ultimate. For reference, there is a 3.6L VQ25det Stagea in Japan putting out 450awps running a re-flashed ECU (mainly to play with the cam timing and remove speed limiter) and an Fcon iS... so I'd say it was capable. My preference is the V-Pro (version 3.2 or 3.24 only) over the iS, but the iS will be fine.

Tv Tuners Once Again - The New Asuka

Wouldn't that be even more limiting? -
What? Fcon iS can definitely handle larger injectors. It is a very comprehensive piggyback... but in the end it IS a piggyback. The Fcon V-Pro will be better suited to our tricky ECU's. You might want to make sure he can actually get hold of a VQ25det Fcon harness (NP5-15) first. They are a discontinued item and from what I have been told HKS have no intention of making up any more... hence discontinued. They ain't cheap either, mine set me back around the $420 mark... but they are farkin serious compared to the eManage universal harness. So $1500 for a harness and brand new Fcon iS still high although as an HKS dealer, they'd have to put their margin on top of the normal price. You could always try Jesse Streeter or RHDJapan to see if you can get both cheaper, but I'm sure you could get an iS over here for pretty cheap. Also, you might want to check which EVC (boost controller) it is for $500. lol... just noticed... Twin Dual turbo back exhaust? I have a feeling he is thinking of another car/engine. Has he seen your car and engine (without cover)? Make sure he is not thinking of either a C34 Stagea (RB25det) or the VQ35de engine (350z/V35 etc) And HOW!

This Is The New Recipe Chat Thread...

yep oh wait, no I'm not. -
lol... yeah, yeah So when are you making them for others?
-
I believe this is what you're after?
-
Did have, then he loaned it out and only half of it came back.
-
Don't you have an HKS tuner over there? HKS Fcon iS will do (at least) as much as the eManage Ultimate and can be picked up pretty cheap (have seen them on eBay for $300-350). Problem is that the ECU will still try to tune around it. On the plus side, the ECU will also accommodate and self tune for basic mods such as exhaust, runner spacer and suction pipe (although the SP will max out the AFM)
-
I was, but changed them out as they were not bright enough, but had no issues with them at all. Optimally matured, thank you. For reference
-
I plan to test that injector theory... just as soon as my com cable rolls up! I saw pics of an HKS replacement for the vertical suction pipe and the rubber bend... Well at least it had HKS stamped on it, but I have only seen it once. Also, TEPS make a very nice suction pipe but you have to supply them with your car.

Indeed, and it was not as if it was a small sticker either. Basically took up 80% of the rear window! Oh, and before I forget, my dad spotted that blue PM35 on North Rd, Oakleigh a couple of days ago. Said he really liked the "mid-blue" (not as light as mine, not as dark as the other M35 blue)
-
Yep, but just a foot note the M35 kit doesn't have any piping. Just the bov and hoses. That pic with the pipe is for another car
-
Struts look like Autech units to me, as fitted to the Axis. Nismo suspension has red springs and silver struts. Not a fan of the wheels... if you are going to keep them, how getting them done in gold with a chrome lip? Sounds crap, but it just may work with that dark blue.
-
You can run the Greddy or Blitz bov's venting to atmosphere on an M35 without issue. They both have kits that will bolt right on.
-
Spotted a white RS M35 with Aero kit, wheels, Legalis and was lowered on Richard Drive in Langwarrin this morning. Had a very large "God Of Rice" sticker on the rear window.

Jeezus!.. and you're talking about Aaron/Craig's love for one another!!!

Have you checked/replaced the rocker cover seal on the passenger side? 2L per 10,000km is quite a leak!
-
Prob the injectors. EDIT: but depending on how big you go, you might need to upgrade the pump to
-
A good bet would be to take a road trip to melbourne to get an eManage tuned.... or get a group together and put Cihan (www.etuner.com.au) up for the night so he can tune a few while there and here I was thinking that your initial 200kw was made with the Kamikazee turbo back that came with your car. So if you had to start again, would you leave the 2.5" pipe on the car?
-
Oh, if that's the case.... upgrade it. 2.5" exhausts have no place on our cars. Bang for buck is the Blitz NUR. Quiet as stock and free flowing 80mm pipe.
-
Yeah, that and the dump/front pipe. Is the Nismo the one with the two square tips? If so leave it. It is a damn good design and a lovely note
-
Jasevr4, is this the silver RS that was/is on Carsales? If so, that Nismo exhaust is the same one I have and you shouldn't change it. It has effectively the same piping as the Fujitsubo Legalis with a completely different rear muffler. 1. Get a dump pipe/front pipe combo to bolt up to your turbo and the Nismo exhaust. 2. Drill out the oil restrictor to 3mm which may prolong the life of your turbo. 3. Get a set of BC's. You should still have a couple of grand left so I'd go with a boost controller and tune I guess (eManage Ultimate is the cheapest option). Doing so, you'll make more power, have less stress on that flimsy turbo, have far better handling and probably better fuel economy. If you want more power after that, you'll need a suction pipe, injectors and pump... and probably a new turbo lol.

Below would be what I am getting at, thanks Ryan. You don't really hear anything about them because the Nismo just works. -

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
iamhe77 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Leon, that IS awesome. Nice work I'd think it would just run leaner wouldn't it? I mean the AFM is metering x amount of air, thus would supply the "appropriate" amount of fuel for that air volume. If the other 25% is not measured, just means that there would be more air for the fuel map quantity. EGT would probably be higher so that might make the ECU have a hissy fit, but can't see an issue with bypassing the AFM. Maybe I am missing something?
