  1. Fixed you post buddy Also, the HKS Fcon V-Pro or iS are the easiest options (plug in, no splicing the loom, no CEL) for tuning the M35 but you will need to find a tuner licensed to work with them.
  2. Congrats on the purchase Thomo. Oil filter is the same as 350z (Z33) or S15. No workshop manuals in English yet, but it is being worked on.
  3. There is a vid on youtube of him tracking it. Wasn't very impressive IMO (not that mine is lol) Can't be too serious... he still has the stock suction pipe!
  4. NFI but he has dropped it $2k in the past month or so.
  5. Yep you will have to. But you can always use the reo for the lower mounts and then drill a hole (or use an existing one) for the top mounts. Nice looking cooler though
  6. Again trying to put a hole in your bonnet? I know you want to reduce under-bonnet temps, but surely there are other ways to do that!
  7. Got some nice stance there Alex You looking at a body kit in the future or happy with the RX look?
  8. and an H pattern shift gate
  9. Fcon went in yesterday. From what I have read (emphasis on read), you should be able to get just about any decent tuner to be able to work with the UpRev pro tuner pack. Apparently it is incredibly simple (??)
  10. Osiris. From the part numbers on the PM35 ECU's, they look very, very similar to the G35x ecu (if not the same). What about the Haltech PS2000 Platinum? Has a plug in for Z33 so may well plug in to yours too.
  11. If it burns a poor quality 10w40... but a better quality 10w40 in there. Example - My wife's Magna burned Nulon 10w40. ~6000kms after I serviced it she noticed a burning smell so I checked it and dumped the oil. Only 2-2.5 of the 5L came out. Have mainly used Valvoline 5w40 since (sometimes Mobil 1)... no burning at all and 99% of what went in comes out.
  12. Umm... then don't sell it? It's not like you need to.
  13. There is usually a set of copied (fibreglass) R32 vents on Yahoo for pretty cheap
  14. Just get that Evo you were looking at recently. Did the dude want to swap with cash?
  15. So just lacking the motivation to drive like he did?
  16. Here you go Aaron. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=11021928&__sid=1321568121C4&__Qpb=1&Cr=6&__Ns=pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&keywords=&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294965857%204294965745%20391%20410%20903&PriceFrom=391&PriceTo=410&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=771&silo=1011 You'll be able to rip mad skidz with this one. Prob more reliable than a R32 GTR too EDIT: just realised it was an auto. Meh, whatever.
  17. lol... you wanna buy a turbo with rwd so you look at a 32GTR? I thought you didn't want to work on your next car? Do you really know what you want dude??
  18. So just get a 2J bottom end for the JZX110. Why stick with a Nissan if you want RWD and turbo?
  19. The resonator is the black tube that comes off the rear of the rubber bend on your intake (between the engine and battery compartment). My memory of the intake is pretty haze, so you may need to remove that rubber bend (easy to do) as well to get a "good" view of where the sensor is.
  20. Thanks mate Nice to have better vids than the one I saw initially. Opinion firmly changed
  21. Having only seen the one vid on youtube, how did Maldonardo get the harsher reprimand? Lewis was the one ducking and weaving and looked to turn right into the Williams. I know they were coming up to eau rouge, but if a car is beside you, generally you don't tune into it. Anyone got other vids of the incident?
  22. Yep, pretty easy, but quite fiddly. You'll need a 10mm small socket wrench with a small extension piece and will have to remove the resonator in your intake. Have a look at the rear of your heads and you should (maybe) be able to see a couple of green connectors. Feel next to these and you will locate the 10mm bolt. Undo bolt and do not drop it Sensor will just pull out To disconnect the sensor from the plug, push the end of the plug toward the sensor and then squeeze the tab and pull the plug off the sensor, you'll know what I mean when you see it (man, this'd be so much easier if I had an engine on a stand to take pics with) We have the same cam and crank angle sensors as VQ35de. Don't let anyone try to tell you differently. Hope that helps (and made sense?!)...
  23. Off Topic, but I just gotta say that I love how you gauge the success of your modifications Iain. If the wife's boobs hurt when in the car. You soften it suspension as that is the gauge of it being too hard. If no complaints about the exhaust volume, it is fine to stay. I guess it is all about knowing the threshold of the mrs, eh?
