  1. or just put some 30's on your existing wheels. They will be a smaller rolling diameter than the standard RS/RX/Axis rolling diameter, but better 12mm smaller rolling diameter than 12mm larger if you put 35's on there (might scrub) Go to the link below to compare wheel and tyre dimensions http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
  2. lol you need larger tyres. 17", go for a 55 tyre 18", go for a 45 tyre 19", go for a 35 tyre
  3. Engine? Doubtful. Transmission? Maybe (I still reckon the stock box with a shift kit will handle it)
  4. lol... Dale = shameless Love it!!
  5. Axis is the same as RX and RS models for suspension. RX and RS can both have HICAS.
  6. I agree, but JB did it the lap he was heard on the team radio last night. Whether the team radio broadcast was quite delayed I do not know.
  7. haha, strange coincidence though. Certainly do hope it is only the fuel pump
  8. I get it "chad bob", you don't like rotaries, but pointing out what the addition of turbo's do to a rotary without saying the same for a low comp 2.5 V6 is a little silly. btw, without a turbo, the low compression VQ25det struggles to even move a 1700kg wagon. Anyway, so what are going to do Josh? Mod the VQ25 or try the 2J?
  9. lol... perhaps something you could have told us earlier?
  10. Button did it last night if I recall correctly. Also I think Webber did it a couple of times earlier this year
  11. Yep, they are bloody everywhere on South Gippy HWY (between Tooradin and Leongatha ).
  12. +1 to this. Oh, and am I the only one getting sick of hearing "I have no KERS, KERS is gone"... then said driver immediately puts in fastest lap of the race on their next lap or two? Lastly, DRS is as shitful a Ecclestone... if DRS must be used, can we at least have it available on corners?
  13. I always get an erection when I work on my car too. LOL. FKN
  14. Yeah, was referring to the stock ecu. The emanage will modify an existing signal (x +/-) so if/when the stock ECU changes it's tune, you'd see a change in the overall tune.
  15. Dunno anything about the tune, but at least you have taken quite a bit of stress of the oil pump (removed blockage so considerably less pressure builds up on the outlet side of the pump), thus increasing it's life span. With those AFR's, at least your economy will be much better! Just a thought, could the ECU have monitored either a lower than ideal oil flow or increased pressure on the oil pump and "pulled back" the tune, then after the clean out perhaps increased the tune to where it should have been in the first place? (sorta like a mini limp mode)
  16. Lesson learned: ALWAYS get car parts delivered to work (dependant on work site of course). Oh, and nice looking Stag!
  17. See man? I told you, heaps of room Coming up real nice
  18. Lack of oil changing by previous owner would explain the sludge (Nissan oil is a mineral base). Sorta makes you wonder how good these detergent additives in Sougi are if they are not cleaning away the sludge. Glad to hear the car is feeling better (about time you got a break with that thing!). EDIT: Bah, Scott got in before me.
  19. Yeah happy birthday bud. You should be spending the day on your back... but I think you have got it wrong
  20. Black RE30's with polished lip would look nice I reckon
  21. Probably better to not pick an engine that has basically the same torque lower in the rev range than our beloved VQ25det's, eh?
  22. Mind if you bridge that gap for me?
  23. *sigh* Obviously a generic form that they fill out. Just so as we are clear, in no way am I advocating that I would prefer a "Rotah" over a "Motah" (lol), but I feel you guys needed to understand that not all rotors are without torque.
  24. I didn't know his wife was coming down? (sorry, couldn't resist!)
  25. Oh FFS... consider it an oil temp regulator and move on.
