  1. Might have something to do with running the eManage and E85. I can unplug my AFM and drive no probs... Won't be a great drive by any stretch and there will be stuff all power or revs.
  2. Or perhaps they are going by Redbook which doesn't seem to recognise anything other than the ARX http://www.redbook.com.au/used-cars/results.aspx?Ns=p_Make_String|0||p_ClassificationType_String|0||p_Family_String|0||p_Year_String|1||p_SequenceNum_Int32|0&N=2994+4294947575+4294842967&TabId=1407342#ctl09_p_d_ctl04_ctl01_ctl02_ctl01_ctl02_cboMake=4294947575&ctl09_p_d_ctl04_ctl01_ctl02_ctl01_ctl02_cboModel=4294842967&ctl09_p_d_ctl04_ctl01_ctl02_ctl01_ctl02_cboYear=4294965791 I don't have access to Glass's Guide to see what is in there.
  3. Those damn aliens must've stolen it
  4. Black oil is what you should be dropping and shows that it it cleaning carbon from the engine. Burning smell is NOT normal and is a sign of an oil that is not up to the task for your engine.
  5. Ben won't comply a private PM35 import. I asked early this year and he flat out said "no", which is understandable considering the risk they went to getting the evidence. The PM35 is probably not on the banned list because they are not aware of them!
  6. Good thing it doesn't. The Fiat would be getting slower and slower by the day if it was receiving Windows Updates.
  7. Yes. HP-1008 is the correct filter (hey, my memory is working today )
  8. Without getting right into it all, can anyone tell me why "developed" nations are subjected to the updated Kyoto Protocol whereas "developing" nations supposedly are not. Hmm... yeah, I'm sure that China and India contribute less environmental damage than Japan or Australia.
  9. a) Thankful I woke up after my alarm at 4 instead of 2 (although I did miss the Louis show ) b) F1 + cotton wool = Montreal? c) Awesome drive by Button d) Definitely robbed of a great battle between Schumi and Webber, for a podium, on a tricky circuit, in tricky conditions by the poorly devised DRS. and
  10. I didn't know they had that lol btw, how the hell does a button that has a "speaker" symbol logically denote a local traffic report? Oh well, learned something

  12. Whats the button underneath RPT Do? Looks like Bluetooth for mobile phone. I saw a button on the right of the steering wheel kinda near the bonnet release, it says Clean and ION on it. Has a little blue LED. Whats this do/mean... (I will post photo later) Ioniser. It releases negative Ions into the cabin (a good thing) Does anyone know if the rubber boot mat/protector things are a common thing seen on eBay or Yahoo Auctions? I'd be pretty keen on getting one as we have two Golden Retrivers who like to roll with us, and they are hairy, messy, on crack dogs, so a bit of protection in there from them would be nice. Worst case I can go to a Rubber joint and get one made. Is the same item as on the series 1 models. See them on Yahoo from time to time, but would probably be easier/cheaper to get one made up. Nice car man
  13. Nice. Congrats.... again
  14. http://www.northshoreprestige.com.au/view.php/used_cars/2005_Nissan_Stagea_SERIES_II_350RX_White_5_Speed_Automatic_Wagon/4686780/ Not on Carsales though.
  15. Doesn't explain the Blitz NUR exhaust
  16. I knew you'd be one to love the sausage!
  17. Why not leave the holes and run ducting to a well hidden trans or oil cooler and the other into the airbox?
  18. Sounds interesting. I'd still be interest in a quick dB reading if possible
  19. haha, seems Aaron has confused you by confusing himself Ryan. can you get a dB reading on that exhaust? Idle and 3000rpm perhaps? Do like the Ti tips
  20. Is it "Richzx" Craig? Can't remember 100% though...
  21. J-Spec are "okay" ... but if you are going to import, maybe speak to Kristian (Iron Chef Imports), Ben at Northshore Prestige, Southern Special Vehicles (only heard good things) or Aaron at Import Monster. Have you driven an M35 yet?
  22. Seems Aaron is in for a longer drive than expected
  23. For a car of it's weight (around 1300kgs), IMO it lacks the power and torque to make it exciting. I compared the Alfa to a Camry based on insufficiently excitable power/torque for the chassis. Having driven both, I had the same dull feeling when stepping out of either. I guess instead of labelling an M35 as a boring car, you should drive one first. Very true on both accounts (FWD sucks and factor in a turbo replacement) Lucky there are guys here with experience that can help new potential buyers
