  1. LOL! I was wondering who bought them! Should look good with your black, erm, blue Kenstyle kit.
  2. I am not going to split hairs with you Champ, but if you specialise on Biceps with a heavy weight exercise (ie a primary working muscle), they are going to develop a lot faster than the tri's that are only used as assisting muscles in that program. Working Triceps independently is "shit" is it? So you don't think having underdeveloped triceps would be a hindrance for chest and shoulder development?
  3. Theo, the spacer is not the wrong one. It was cut from the same template as all the other spacers that have been installed. As I said in my PM, it only goes on one way, so try flipping it over or switching ends.
  4. Yes, I think that the court ruling was that if the oil is a minimum of 70% synthetic, it could be marketed as "fully synthetic". There are more than Motul though... Redline and Amsoil are two that I can think of immediately that are 100% synthetic.
  5. So complete system with Ti tips is just over $2k plus shipping? I think maybe some db levels and a youtube clip for the sound might help. Only reason I say that is because you can probably get a Kakimoto R or Blitz NUR and one of Scott's dump/front pipe combo's for that price, although AM's is probably a little easier for SA residents. Still, very interested in the design and how AM are implementing the sound deadening. Do love a well designed exhaust!
  6. Actually the Valvoline Syn Power 5w40 is a pretty good oil. Not the best synthetic you can get, but you could do a lot worse. The only Castrol that you'd touch is the German Castrol (labelled "Syntech 0w30"), but I think that as as scarce as Sougi S6000 these days.
  7. lol, marketing. The Nulon "fully synthetic" oils are a mineral base. Not a good oil at all.
  8. well Crayola have had a device that has been able to do that for many a year.
  9. lol... I count no less than 8 Commodores in the inpound yard. Where are the stories of the Commo "hoons"? Pretty boring story to see a RWD aussie car straddling a speed bump spinning up the rears in a quiet residential street I guess
  10. pics or it didn't happen
  11. Sorry mate, missed your reference to the "engineer".... especially going from when you typed; Fair enough though, can't believe how hard GW fail sometimes. Dale, agree on Fuchs, I used the 5w40 Titan Super Syn a while ago and the car felt "more together" than when using Mobil 1. It is a Group IV oil I believe and reasonably priced.
  12. Please don't say shit like that mate, it's embarrassing. You simply can't judge an oil quality by power figures. Sure, you can get a decent power loss by using an oil that is much too thick (see Sin, Penrite), but c'mon man, saying a 1kw drop in power could be expected because an oil is of near quality to another oil is like saying that my hands are warmer today because I wore my Rivers shoes instead of my sneakers.
  13. You should be okay with a semi for 5000kms.... BUT considering the power level and previous issues with turbo failure, why would you skimp on the life blood of your engine? Oh, and oil is not there to extract power from your engine, it is there to lubricate and clean. Whom have you been talking to that measure how good an oil is by the kw +/-???
  14. Yes, but what specs? I know that Stao will usually push for a 3076 core
  15. lol... not to worry, just pay a king's ransom for some 300v and run it for 10,000kms.
  16. lol... I don't think it is the same thing mate, you need to take into account the flow pattern of the filter so sticking a magnet "anywhere" is not that great an idea IMO The reason the PE/HKS/Greddy magnets are the size/shape and positioned where they are is so the oil flows over and around the magnet with as little disruption as possible and without the chance of clogging up one area of the filter.
  17. Fair bit cheaper too!
  18. 300v will last you 10,000kms before you need to change it (just get a good filter). Nissan's oil is a mineral base. Unsatisfactory in this day and age IMO.
  19. Aah yes, I stand corrected. Which bolts/washers?
  20. Reducer comes in the kit Leon. In fact everything you need comes in the kit.
  21. 2.75" pipe. Cooler has 3" inlet/outlet.
  22. Actually I thought it was one of your more literate posts.
  23. Aaron, go talk to Nick "nickcorr" about that. His has been installed a lot longer than yours. I'd certainly try it out. Could do it too - the PM35 bonnet has a lot more clearance than the NM35 bonnet.
