  1. Maybe the wiring wasnt done all that correctly. Get UAS to go over it again. The ECU is very sensitive to half assed connections unforunately...
  2. Hankook Ventus K104s... very good price/performance ratio IMO.
  3. Seems those prices are pretty steep. From the last 5 or so I've been to, they've all been around the $25 mark...
  4. Wow and thats a very linear graph there too.. VERY nice indeed!
  5. You usually can get whiteline gear cheaper from retailers than whiteline themselves... Give a few reputatable retailers a buzz.
  6. I have them too. Do a search on some testimonials. 255/40/17s on the rear... Good stuff for the price!
  7. I would have said 1.5bar on an SR20DET but I would say there wouldnt be alot of gains going over 1.2bar on an RB25DET, especially if the internals are still stock!!
  8. Nice going there man. It takes quite a bit of practice to get the most outta your car on the 1/4 with a manual car.. My 60fts are always 2.4 so I need more practice.. Make sure you get a 12 next time you head out
  9. You can use a multimeter which has duty cycle display function. Jaycar sell one. About $50-60 bux I thought?
  10. I thought tapping the sump would also be a good place.. Might read a tad low, maybe 5C?
  11. Ultimate for sure. Optimax literally stinks thanks to its high sulpur content. No good for my nose or the engine for that matter..
  12. Motul Turbolight would be good for your application.
  13. If you have traction problems lower them to mid 20s cold. Handling will suffer however.
  14. I like the GReddy ones. Not a fan of the SSQ.
  15. Was that price for each rotor or for the pair? Thanks!
  16. Also looking into getting your rear end properly aligned will certainly help things.
  17. Hey sskylinee, its me Leo Welcome to the forums dood!
  18. I have to say, put this thread as a candidate for thread of the year. Just pure gold! Hahaha
  19. AVS suspension are good blokes...
  20. Peak readings about 60 indicate that your engine is lightly pinging. >100, you have some issues, so turn down the boost a bit or retard the timing by a degree or so.
  21. Wouldnt half of that shit fall off at 60kmh? Hahaha
  22. People tend to swear by them, but I do hear of increasing reports of them cracking at the flange-pipe weld.
  23. Actually yeah light pinging can actually produce more power because the cylinder pressures are even higher than normal combustion conditions, so thus you get more torque. Heavy pinging usually doesnt produce lots more power however because the pressures are so uncontrolled. But yes obviously in both conditions its detrimental to your engine..
  24. That castrol 10W60 stuff is too bloody thick. That belongs in race cars, or smoke blowing Sigmas. Motul 8100, Mobil 0W40, Castrol 0W40 or Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 would be a good choice for all year round use.
  25. To test lifters you need a feeler gauge to see if a particular lifter is pumping up or not.
