  1. guaranteed flyweel hp.
  2. the scales are 100% configurable, you manipulate the fuel and ign RPM scales to suit the engine characteristics.. you only have a fixed total amount of axis points so you move them around to suit. scaler is Fuel RPM scaler under scaler tab. DO NOT ADJUST THESE... copious amount of time setting the scalers and maps to produce the smoothest power delivery in your tune file.
  3. r33 non neo.
  4. sounds like its had a 100k haircut. is it a melb car?
  5. put the std tb back on no difference unless your making big power.
  6. Great Ecu (LINK G4 as its also known by the original manufacturer) it will allow scope for any mods in the future, if your not going all out it would be a wiser investment to buy a PFC as you will save about 1500 yet make the same power and have the same driveability. Even the new adaptronic plug in select ecu would be a good investment for basic mods.
  7. every post i make now guys: [#10151] An unknown error occurred
  8. Well the the SS1.5PU just rolled off the dyno... fun times will let stao post his results.
  9. im sorry but its NOTHING TO DO WITH NISTUNE... FFS. It is neither my fault or NISTUNE'S that you decided to take the cheapest route, buy a PFC or any other myriad of R33 designated products and you will be sweet.... You have an ecu designed for another car with only 3/4 of the correct inputs going into the ecu the others are being turned off in the Nistune software ..... if it wasnt for the nistune it would not work AT ALL it just happens that in some cases it works real well and other's are a pain. If it was an issue with an R34 nistune in a R34 vehicle or similar then yes it would be their fault but in this case all onus is on the converter or the owner as it is a custom install.... PS dont put works in my mouth i fkn hate it... i am never adamant about anything other than doing things properly... i may have suggest it as an option but never adamant. Regardless of your reservations i hope your car ends up being fine and whoever tunes it finds it to be one of the good ones.
  10. Thats my understanding too, a few dyno manufacturers even supplied them as part of the dyno, but i now know of two who have dropped them and reverted back to the motec getup.
  11. 50hp dry shot provided you have the fuel for but for over 75hp go wet.
  12. Nos is killer ignore the knockers.... but better off with a "wet" kit.
  13. Lets get this straight it is not a nistune issue as much as an incompatibility between some Z32 ecu's and the R33 car itself, we have done about 20 or so (upto 400rwkw) and of those 20 about 6 give major headaches (r32 nistuned ecu worked so its not the cars), since i cannot differentiate the exact problems between ecu serials and r33 model series1, 2 or 2.5 i have stopped doing them, Stao's latest issues were the 16bit ecu. Nistune is a great system and is generally our Number 1 recommendation for S13, S15 and R32 / R34's.... just not R33 with ecu conversions
  14. Clear the whole lot (whole tune) and just input the injector size correction (ignore latency) it should run. Then cut and paste your ignition corrections into the map... retune the fuel map.
  15. do you have an hour....
  16. Nah more likely be excess heat, insufficient ring end gap or collapsed ring lands/ pitted sides etc..
  17. pull the pistons, the photos dont have enough detail to show "exactly" the cause.
  18. This thread is now full of useless haters... seriously STFU if you dont like it go buy a Garret like every other "puppet"... i sure as hell dont mind and im sure "the keeper" will still be smiling
  19. Same, but they are cheap nowadays
  20. WTAC was wild, spent about 6hrs talking shit to mates and contacts of old... saw about 20 mins of driving.... maybe next year i will see some more track action and less lip action...LOL Props to daniel-san for the VIP tour of Panspeed and revolutione

  21. Always been a killer turbo, search rx6 in SAU and im sure i will have a post or two in there... used them for years.
  22. i think i counted 4 efr turbos.... on some sweet machines.
  23. ive had a lot of EMU's coming in for us to fix lately pinking their heads off, there is a few shops tuning these without knock ears and its killing motors, not saying its the case here . One tuner exclaimed that you can hear pinking and that knock ears were a waste of time..... that particular soarer was over 6 degrees to far advanced and if it wasnt for the fact it was a fresh forged engine it would be dead.... Your better off with the haltech though thats for sure.
