Go hard man, I'm over the soft fools.
-
I think I may have to throw my maroon teddy bear in the bin and get a blue one. Heres the deal. We have a Nizmo sponsored track day coming up early next month and we cant even get a half a field. These candy arses are soft as custard. They would rather hang out in car parks, coffee clubs and generally cruise around the strip with their cocks or tits hangin out the window saying look at me, look at me!!. I drive a skyline. Classic example. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Po...rk-t223791.html Get in there you cockroaches and call them out for the pink shirted candy arses they really are. Any room down there for a hard arse cranky old bastard who loves to get down and dirty at the track, drag strip mountain, or whatever.
-
That one might need a full cut and polish
-
Why dont you just harden the f**k up or go buy a honda or a pink huandai. Evo forums are full of bona fide racers, Holden and ford forums are similar. skyline forum is full of coffee club boost cruising wankers. I'm ashamed to say i boughta skyline as a performance vehicle when i see the soft arse shit you lot go on with.

Help Me Choose A Federal Tyre
FineLine replied to NYTSKY's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I've been using the R's for quite some time now and IMO they rok. No they are not capable of the same lap times as some of the more fancied semi's available but they are unpteen times more durable and are still streets ahead of any street tyre for grip. I would rate them in between good street rubber and high end semi's for grip And with 16000 kays, several track days and other sheanigans on board mine are still going strong. Definitely one of the better compromise tyres out there considering the cost versus performance versus durability. -
How times change. Densham (teachers pet) one of the stars when force was still learning. Last season Densham was actually employed by force as a driver.
-
Damn! I remember so much of that, Including the author.
-
If you remember geoff we thought we were pushing the limit. we just couldnt make the numbers with the q45 afm. Now it does it so easily with the haltech i see no need for the w/m kit.
-
Isnt that stock!!! Looks like that flamin shrek lied to me again. Cant trust these dodgy workshops. I paid for a stock rebuild and i end up with all this shit in my engine. Ban him mods.
-
Ifs worth every damn cent. If only I could trust myself not to drink it.

Fs: 18in Racing Sparco Wheels
FineLine replied to BoostdR32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Right back atya Yvonne, It was easy and you're a sweety. But please do me one favor. Refrain from referring to me as "very nice" It detracts from my hard won reputation as "a cranky old bastard" You wont know the wheels next time you see them. -
Its pretty much full house for a 25 mate. The usual bottom end, blueprinted, balanced, cryo'd crank etc, o.s. giken slugs, eagle rods, Hi energy gated and baffled sump, Jun oil pump, restrictors, bleed back etc. Extensive head work, Including solid lifter conversion, major porting, chamber mods. os feria valves (exhaust only) stiffer springs, Custom signature performance himount topped with a surge ported 35/40 garret, Tial 44 mil external gate. 3and 1/2 inch dump through same diameter exhaust. Greddy plenum, 800cc sards, tomei rail. big fmic, radiator etc, etc. All managed by a haltech e11v2. No secrets in there Lithium. Simply a combination of good quality componentry and expertise. I have bolted up a snow performance water meth injection kit too but its coming out now. I see no reason to bother hooking it up as there is still plenty left in the engine as it is if we want it, I dont think I'll bother. Its a tunnafun to drive and any more grunt would just be wasted..

definitely interested in a set of chrome. Let us know when you have pricing.

Intercooler Core....from Black To Chrome/silver
FineLine replied to locoloc's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Did the reverse to my front mount. went from silver to black for a more stealth approach. Just thin coats and it never affected anything other than the colour. -
So Tell Me About Nissan Maxima's A32 Series
FineLine replied to evil_weevil's topic in General Automotive Discussion
We're on our third one as our family daily and i tell you straight up. i wouldnt swap it for quids. An excitement machine it most certainly is not but it excels at what it was built for. Relaxed, quiet comfy cruising. In this department it puts some more expensive rivals in the shade. It doesnt lack for overtaking punch either. Problems to date. one recall for a dodgey door lock. one warranty replacement fuel pump. Negatives. The only one that comes to mind is the rake of the seat riser in relation to the headrest. The rest is too far back to be used as such. Best damn bang for buck family sedan sedan I ever owned by far. If i tried to sell it off the old girl would knife me in my sleep. p.s. Just take it somewhere else besides the dodgey bastards at nissan for service work. -
36 clams for 4 hours Tom.

Not quite right, YOUR sister is my girlfriend. My sister is actually my wife. I actually score a lot more than a blues team too.
-
Because the drags is actually a measure of something other than bullshit.
-
Check your bov mate. I had a similar prob. The piston had siezed and she became N/A. We pulled it apart on the side of the road and fixed it and all happy again.
-
I've never read so much bullshit. Everyone knows that its blue cam gear covers that fix dodgey coil paks. Dan you are full of it. There are plenty of cars out there that can leave mine in the shade but i am extremely happy with the figures given how little we had to lean on it to produce them. With the afm (q45 we were struggling to get it anywhere near these numbers with another 800rpm and an extra 8% of timing. Once the Haltech was installed it made power so easily it was ridiculous. In hindsight I think I may have achieved a better result with the z32 over the q45. Nothing i can prove, just a gut feeling. The rev limiter is now set to 7800 rpm as opposed to 8700 previously. boost is 25 lb instead of 28 and as i said, timing is 8% less than previous. More power with less work makes me happy in the pants. And NO Shane, I am not going to up the ante. Its more than quick enough to keep this old man entertained. Big thanks to Dan from elite racing for the build. And to mik the patient from signature performance for his tuning work. We are damn fortunate to have some non dodgey operators with scruples up our way. (plenty of the other kind too)
