Thanks Glen - sounds like a big job. After 3 months of fart-assing around I'm OVER it. Funnily enough after my car go rego'ed i'd been driving around with it going from 1st to 2nd to 5th. Then after a couple of days 3rd and 4th came back as if nothing had ever gone wrong.. they actually weren't squishy and worked perfectly. Then today (a few days later) I rev'ved it out a little in 3rd and it doesn't want to come back out of 3rd. It will come partly out but taking the clutch pedal up then produces a god-aweful sound.. so I limped home and she's now stuck in 3rd. *sigh* the plot thickens - I don't get why it would just work all of a sudden again... HMM!! Dev - car is fully engineered, rego'ed but gearless Cheers.

Anyone wanting cefiro keys should look up SE. Asian countries where this was looked up.. p'raps Funky can help us out? In China the cefiro is still sold (in a different guise) but their OEM keys would definately have that logo on it.

TA22 with a 351 = shit TA22 with a SR20 = yay TA22 with a 13b = yay Sorry but it would handle like a dog. I know I'll get flamed for this but to me a GTR being built as a 1/4 mile car is a waste. Why not just put on a nice pair of low mounts, be happy with 300kw and do some club racing?

I asked a mechanic if you could take it apart to look at it he said if you do that you may as well have it re-shimmed to put it back together... so.. is it ok to just take it apart to look inside and then put it back together, or will it fall apart on me ? Gday mate, There was someone who posted up a cefiro exhaust for about $500, it had no cat but you could put one in. I can't remember who posted but hopefully they'll see this post and answer... it was from WA or SA I think. Otherwise you could get a custom made at a zorst shop.. I don't see how it'd be more than a 300-500 ?

Yah fair enough. I just keep thinking what happens if some pisshead jumps in front of your car.. even if it wasn't your fault .. it's going to be your fault with a fibreglass bonnet they got stitched up *shrug* That's why my car = fully engineered Looks mad tho, post up pics when it's painted please. If I have enough cash I might pickup some vents, otherwise I may investigate this chocking up of the bonnet because my bonnet doesn't seem to have any hooks that would lock it in an impact, so I'm assuming chocking it up a little won't hurt *shrug* we'll see

Could peoples with cefiros and vented bonnets please take pics of them? I'm particularly interested in non-carbon fibre/fibreglass - more so in the ones with vents (because I'm looking at putting a vent in or two in). Cheers.
