Just out of interest in regards to viscosity.. too viscous means you tend to drag stuff right? and if it's too thin what happens then? I've been running redline shockproof heavy in my box and now it's seized in 3rd so I'm wondering if that may have done it?

There are threads about this if you search up mate - not having a go just saying because I can't remember but I have read it here but +7 is something ridiculously bad for your stock turbo. You should probably go easy as it sounds like you're leaning the engine out - if you don't want or can't get a normal boost gauge (which I highly recommend) then tune the boost controller on the dyno.. atleast then you'll know if it's running dangerously lean. I think a sponsor in the sponsor section has gauges for $90. Good luck.

That's pressure pushing fumes out of the tank!@!! :flamer: You have more chance of being blown up with the tank empty than full.. the liquid is less dangerous than having a bunch of fumes. I'm no expert but... Check AFM? Also my friends GTiR came up black on boost and we thought it was rich ... turned out the wastegate actuator "stick" (lever?) had worked it's way lose... (unlimited boost). Good luck.

I've heard the turbo can decrease temp from hooning to idling by as much as half it's temp. Dono if that's true.. never measured.

Hang on. eg. Can I import a <10k race/rally GTR and use it as a donor to say a chassis with a blown up engine that's registered/complied here already then have it engineered and legally registered? (ie use basically everything but the chassis)

hmm I couldn't afford the tyres I wanted either so I got 2 nankangs on the back for blue slip (making it 4 nankangs on the car... 4 too many) - haven't noticed anything with em yet. will keep an eye on them - good luck to ya let us know how it goes.

Me too. It's the vapour. Although the person who mentioned dirt bike was onto it. I wouldn't like to have someone next to me smoking in the servo.. they're welcome to do it when they're the only one there but yeah. I wouldn't worry about phones and leaving your car on though but I'm not basing that on any scientific theories just my personal feeling
