  1. FYI there are a few A31s in this buy I noticed as well - http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=82750 Seem to be coming from Whiteline too so it might be worth investigating if we can mention to whitelines we're from the same buy - seems to make up the number nicely Especially seeing that whiteline would make it up, sell it to us, and them off a car we provided.
  2. Forward - not much, 1-2cm. Across, alot. Will have to check it out - although no money at the moment so I guess it ain't an issue.
  3. Damnit, I wish my car was working - they could have it for a set of struts : Plus that would guarantee fitting with a bigger sump
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=61152 looks like the same stuff but cheaper. Disclaimer: I've never dealt with the guy off ebay or this sponsor. Read the whole thread and make your own mind up.
  5. Have a beer sounds like a job well done.. one of the jobs I've never done and hope I never have to do
  6. lol Richard - this is also why I clicked on it
  7. I wouldn't put stickers identifying the alarm you have protecting your car to the potential thief. Just stick with the red light - after all that's telling them there's an alarm they don't need to know which brand.
  8. Put your hazard lights on and make sure all the blinkers work. If one doesn't work the circuit goes faster. Cheers.
  9. Maybe it's a garret not HKS model number?
  10. Hmm wonder how my 235/40/18's Nankang (WOO GO THE CHEAPOS!) will go? Ahh who cares I just wanna run it once or twice and see what I get. If anyone from here is going in the next month or two to the 1/4 please let me know so I can ask some q's and run with you Cheers guys.
  11. Which area are you in? I've never been but keep hearing grey imports at annandale do good work.
  12. :aroused: great concept and great chop :aroused: :aroused: :aroused: :aroused: :aroused:
  13. Holy crap Roy 3 gorillas for tyres!! No freakin way I'm sorry but $3k you can make up the lap times with more power or suspension You seriously chasing the seconds ay?
  14. Go Roy go. I wouldn't mind taking some tips from you when I get my car working and out there (sometime this year hopefully)
  15. Yeah it'd be nice to borrow someones set of radials and take out my subs and spare tyre etc for 1 or 2 runs so I can say I dipped into 11's or 12's (if it's possible). But really I'd like to also know the time my car runs with subs, petrol and spare wheel on lo-pros.. ie. how it is on the street But thanks guys this is making me optimistic that with some practice I could hit mid low 13's and maybe even high 12's. Thanks everyone!! (ps. bob if you end up getting a set I'd like to pay for 1 use one day heh)
  16. Yes I would love front n rear swaybars. I wonder how an s13 sway bar would go with my sr20 with arc sump : (complications!!) Would the rear one fit from a s13?
  17. lol @ dude falling out of the car
  18. Thanks guys. So hopefully with the subs out, more boost (210-220rwkw) and some OK driving I should see mid-low 13's. Good to know. Just out of interest did you guys use stock suspension or coilovers? And lo-pro tyres? Thanks.
  19. Gday, My car weight = 1350kg (yeah subs, sound deadening and zip ties) 2 dynos.. one said 180 the other said 200rwkw. Can anyone tell me the ET and 60ft time I'd be expecting first time down the quarter? I realise suspension and tyres make a difference and currently they're hard coilovers + low profiles, so I'm not expecting good times but would still appreciate a guesstimation within a second. I'm wondering if I could get 13 with around 2.4 60" ?? Thanks
  20. That car looks awesome. Keep safe and stop strapping it without changing fluids.. but otherwise good on ya
  21. Good onya... crank it
  22. I think UAS at $80 for 3 runs would be the more expensive, then there are others that will do for $40 Shop around, but once you pick one keep going back because different dynos read differently (even the same dyno with different settings will read differently.)
  23. Had respray for scratches? Looks sus, might be fine but I'd have it checked out by NRMA or whoever in your state. ALWAYS do this.. INSIST!! I wish I had when I bought my car instead of just being trusting.
  24. Personally I think it would look wonky with black eye lids (a case of "must have eyelids over good taste"). You could just order them and get them painted... It wouldn't cost that much and no doubt look great
