  1. No Damage to a taxi driver means the car is all one colour! Bad luck man, take your car to a good workshop and good luck with the repairs
  2. That is bloody awesome! GO Gemini!

    I Knew It!

    That's gold! Go Nova
  4. Any comments on that sik zorst? That's a nice sleeper, like to see some specs on that build.
  5. I'm 6'4" have a 33 4 door with a sunroof and crave a better driving position. I have chopped 40mm out of the rear seat mounting but still need the wheel closer and can not drive the car with a helmet for shit! I would love a bride side mount bucket but lack the fundage and would like to try a removable boss for wheel position, I love my momo wheel but a dished nardi or similar would feel loads better. just as well i don't drive it often. I have tried gtr buckets and they are no better than my lowering job. To lower the seat i drilled the rivets out of the right rear mount and replaced it with a flat plate and 6mm high tensile bolts instead of rivets. Then ground down the head of the mounting bolt to clear the rail and drilled a hole 40mm lower in the trans tunnel for the left rear mount, also a bit of a shave on the seat mount at the bottom to clear the curve on the floorpan. It's a cheaper option and could be done better with welding but i can put it back to standard if i want, this way
  6. The Westy ring road has these cameras, saw them yesterday, also the temp signs saying 'Cameras are on, speed cameras reduce accidents' or something like that. Mind you i nearly side swiped a falcon wagon full of newborn babies reading it! I had a thought ....... and Yes it hurt...... If you abide by the speed limit...... mabe ..just mabe.. you won't have to worry about getting booked? That said .... i spend so much time looking at my speedo these days, that i rarely have a chance to see where i am driving.. so look out for all these responsible drivers doing the speed limit while running you into a concrete pylon.
  7. Nice ride, welcome, 170 to 180KW at the rears, but don't worry it still feels fast!
  8. OMG what is the world coming to! The cheek of some people! How dare someone have love for their 4X4 and give it twin pipes and big wheels! Such aftermarket equipment should be exclusive to performance cars and as such should be monitored by the fashion Police..... or something.... Get a grip
  9. www.j-spec.com.au or even better .............. buy my Toyota Celsior, stock as a rock.
  10. Drink less beer, and try a hand full of talcum powder!!! Maybe lay off the baked beans?
  11. Buy 100 octane Shell V Power Racing and just suck it up. And drive your Skyline rarely.
  12. Hey Daniel, Working this weekend,, away for Easter, mabe the following saturday if I'm not picking up my new daily driver or roadworthying my Celsior. Mmmmmmmm new Navara..... V6 with 6 speed manual, drooolll.... 20' chromies more drool!
  13. Sad to see the 4 door go Justin, Up your budget and buy my celsior!! You can buy some half decent cars for around 150,000 yen in Japan, that will give you some change from you budget. Free plug for my homies at J-Spec!
  14. Sounds like the second start circuit is not hooked up to allow cold start, in this case the car will not start cold but if you start it with the key it will start properly and then start remotely until the engine gets cold again (usually around 8 hours). The directed system allows for a tacho input that will engage the starter until the engine fires and runs, slackers will not hook this up as it takes longer and makes the install longer and more complicated. On a side note, Nissans also have a built in neutral circuit on manuals that integrates easily to the alarm allowing safe remote start operation, if its in gear the car will not start and there is no need for cheesy aftermarket switches to be installed. I am interested to know if this feature has been used on your car. The flat battery problem could be caused by the start inhibit relay being incorrectly wired, this leaves the relay energised whenever the car is armed and will flatten a normal battery in the time you specified. However if this is a late model 791XV with the mini satellite relay module I doubt it will be the problem, I have seen more crap batteries than alarm problems in the past causing this. I have to ask if the battery is new, and would recommend a current draw test with the alarm disarmed then armed, if the alarm is drawing too much current then you will see this on the meter. I would like to be in a position to offer my services to help you but am struggling to find the time to scratch my ass at the moment, (and yes, before you ask, it is itchy)! I am working in the automotive industry again and hope to be able to do some after hours work like this soon, I hope this information helps you and will check back when I can to see your progress. If you were able to leave your car with me for a couple of days in the not to distant future I would be able to sort out these problems. Hope it gets sorted out either way, It sucks when your pride and joy has problems like this.
  15. Hey Daniel, Can't recommend anyone at the moment but what are the problems you are having? Depending on the problem you could possibly speak to Directed themselves in Tullamarine.
  16. Sweet little car, well done, are you gonna try to break it?
  17. It's not fair, I can't get into anything now 'cause im off to the Philippines to visit the family and the programming over there is quite different. Looks like i will be buying more Box sets of seasons of cool shows. Really wanted to to get into Heroes! Bauer rox.
  18. Dezz, Dezz, Dezz, What were you thinking? If you were sideways at the time they would have a nice side on shot of you with no visible number plates showing. Pick up your game FFS. You drive an import, it is a social requirement to cane it silly like your willy. If vehicle manufacturers need to abide by a 10% error on speedo's of course 2KPH leeway is fair. Victoria the place to be..................................................................FINED
  19. The media has the power to poison peoples minds in regard to topics that don't normally interest them, any positive coverage is beneficial to our cause and what we stand for here at SAU. That said, I am confused because the line between enthusiast and hoon is blurring and It would seem that with what is being said, I must be a hoon. Being a hoon is not trendy at the moment so perhaps i should stop enjoying my throttle and buy a diesel moped or something. I have a very busy work and family life and find it hard to even catch up with friends these days, I love my cars and would like to see events more local to me that are legal. CBF with crap like this, the thread started well and has slipped down hill unnecessarily. I am not a fan of street racing but know where I came from, education is helpful in this regard and legal events should be encouraged.
  20. Pull that inner guard out and all will be revealed, including a big grommet
  21. I often Kramer it, and In my series 1 when the fuel is low the light comes on and it tries to stall around left hand corners! the most fuel it has ever taken is 63l allowing for a comfortable 2l. Best k's ever was about 580, average is about 300. My car seems to like V power racing, finally no pinging!
  22. Interesting topic this, Seeing as you can't wash your car at all now even using a pressure washer, I use three buckets or so of bath and shower water through the Karcher and one bucket of fresh water to rinse off. Having a house on a slab sucks for grey water reclamation. Use less water where you can.
