  1. Cheers guys, yeah if the GTR sells this week i would expect it to be completed within a month or two. Afro, i can only drive from home, and too a place of repair (work luckily) at the moment, its been defected... should hopefully be getting it cleared next week though.
  2. Well pending a mechanical inspection next week, which it should pass with flying colours its sold for 40g's!!! u all know what this means SUPERCHARGER BIG FRONT MOUNT FUEL PUMP AND MICROTECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so so so very farken stoked!!!! the second i have the money im ordering the vortech blower and front mount hello over 400 ponies at the bags, thats over 300kw's at the wheels!!! OMFG im so excited!!! oh and i forgot to add im buying a set of slicks and a stall convertor too, which means im going to be running some very very serious times, im guessing a hell of alot quicker than the GTR ran. Figures are quoted from results in the states, VH45's respond very well to boost and make over 400hp@wheels on only 5-6 psi stock everything with an exuast and tune.

  7. VH-VK series is hands down the best... many other engines capable of making up to and over 1000hp NA... oh they just love boost too :headspin: edit: on pump gas, daily driven
  8. Sounds like they want to make a little more money.
  9. hmmm weather doesnt look promising.... id come but im not aloud to drive my car says the department of transport..... hmmmm wondering if i should borrow mums merc??
  10. Rofl!!
  11. yeah they are ADR approved, u will find that the bas of them is too thick and if ur tall, u will hit ur head on the roof, hence why my pair are still sitting on the garage floor, if ur not that tall than it wont be an issue, they are really good value for money seats.
  12. That cool mate, i started saving for a car very early, bought a vl when i was 15, did it up, made twice my money on it and bought my skyline when i was 16 for 14g's 95 NA R33. Finished school and kept working while going to uni, ive had to drop my subjects this semester as ive had to take over the running of a business do to some unfortunate circumstances. But im still surviving. Wanna by a 12.2 sec GTR ?
  13. I hope you werent having a dig, i worked extremly hard for what i got, Unfortunately im in a little to much debt though and have to sell the GTR.
  14. Im not a Skyline only person, i drive a V8 skyline, and a GTR, firstly a GTR stock as a rock will destroy a six ltr holden i know this as i have raced a few. My 4.5ltr V8 R33 that made 680nm's or tractive effort in top gear on the dyno which is stock as a rock bar headers and exhaust also beat one of these six ltr beasts up to 140 odd kph and then it started realin me back in as my auto started to run out of legs, but i was still quicker over 400m's. Last of all u shouldnt be racing from traffic lights neways, its against the law...
  15. They picked me up 2 weeks ago for a fiberglass bonnet and unsecured airfilter, those things are fixed. They went over it this morning and found: 1. Coil Overs.. Not ADR approved 2. Exhaust.. Not ADR Approved for Noise and Emissions 3. Front indicators(holden VY side repeaters).. Not ADR Approved 4. Parkers.. Blue tint?? WTF they are white, no sign of blue at all. 5. Headlights.. Dull and faded plastic.. along with every other 33 in the country 6. Rear Indicators and reverse lights tinted (i knew that one sort of just crossed my fingers and hoped they wouldnt care) 7. Steering Column rubs on headers (he was lucky to pick that up it only does it once in a blue moon) ah well... Most of it is an easy fix, i still have the stock suspension and all the other bits ill pinch of the GTR for the inspection bar the exhaust thats gonna bbe tricky, though a good friend of mine is an approved exhaust fitter and testing dude. Things they should have but didnt get me for, Large Holes cut in structural parts of the body, Wheels and Tyres scrub and are way to big, front tyres stick out past the guards, RSM and shiftlight on the dash no spare or jack, lots of Mod plate required suspension mods, but now its been inspected when i take it back they only check what they listed... oh well there bad. Now that ive calmed down a bit its not a huge deal just a rather large expensive **** around, id rather be putting the money towards my non adr approved supercharger
  16. Spotted my car at the Pits this morning being gone over.... now it wont be spotted on the road for a while.
  17. VL when i was 15, 33 GTS NA on my learners till mid last year Same 33 with V8 conversion '95 R33 GTR Vspec Last July Still own both skylines, GTR is for sale.
  18. Haha, mine comes out of a 4.5ltr engine. Not arguing yes its easier to just turbo an engine, but there is nothing like the feeling or driveability of an NA engine, and quite simple some people just prefer them. I have a personally prefer NA, and some forms of supercharged engines, with low to mid range response, im not a huge fan of turbos.
  19. Thanks Heaps Guys, Had fun, Great Photos Andrew!!
  20. i got that kinda of power with an NA engine in a skyline that isnt anymore than 80kg's heavier than a stocker...
  21. ^^^what he said^^^ Matty at PITS is very talented.
