  1. I'm with Roy, go the 8cms and get rid of the Type Bs in favour of stock or Type Rs and dial them in and you will pick up more 1000rpm in response 8cm = .57 A/R 10cm = .75 A/R
  2. I wondered if you got a big plastic water tank, like 50,000ltr, dig it into ground level and cut the top of with a bit of water in it as it would attract them and once half full got a 5m auger bit on a 50 tonne excavator and blend
  3. Lol, as if, I would much prefer to be doing it with twins then a big single
  4. Lol, lies, I see lies You can't really compair single v twin cause to many veriables like intake and dump pipes etc, dump pipes are one of the biggest issues with turbos and it's hard to get wrong on a single, especially if you have a external gate, but very very easy to get wrong on factory mount twins Even cam timing makes a difference So it really comes down to personal preference and what you want from your car
  5. I know where some Bull ants are that are more then an inch long, these farkers are so big they stop and look up at you as you walk past them
  6. Me too please, then drag slips cause dynos lie
  7. 5 ltrs unleaded and a match
  8. I'd like to have a go of the new Dunlop's http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+ZII+Star+Spec
  9. Really, you must work on cars a lot cause even I could tell that was a 26 just from that pic And I'm just giving him info, what he does with it is his issue And from the info he did give that line only goes to the boost gauge so capping won't blow up his engine, unless he is wrong and it is still connected to his wastegate
  10. Not on a 26 it's not, it comes off the end of the balance tube next to the fire wall OP, no that open pipe goes to a T the to one of the two by the filter, from there it goes to the boost solenoid then back to the other one of the two which then goes around the back of the engine to the intake pipe off the rear turbo, the other side of the T goes around the back of the engine to the wastegate So if it's not the boost controller source then just cap it
  11. How about we find out what the turbo is before we doom it to the recycling bin ? Post up pics of it and the link to where you found out its for a scania The Holset HX35 turbo is what comes on my truck but has produced good results on RB25s What is the part number, with a stroke of luck its a GT3782 http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/applications/trucks/scania/
  12. The one with the little blue line off it is the factory boost solenoid/wastegate feed which goes to the open pipe you can see in the back ground Just plug it up, but where is the wastegate line coming from ?
  13. On a stock 32, yeah good cheap mod that works a treat, but it isn't as good as a modded and properly set preload and if coupled with the modded clutch packs and 4WD controller is a recipe for front diff failure/removal What is the input spline on the OS88
  14. Interesting read http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm And how I did my R34
  15. This was with 1) was with a straight bar removing clutch pack altogether, solid state lock 2) was over modified transfer case with the bolt in the back trick and 4WD controller The key was not to over do preload and not have the controller turned up to high, this car had the 4WD controlled by the MoTec
  16. I forget the specifics but generally when you jam the brakes on hard trunk g into a corner after a full noise stint and the 4WD is still loaded up the two forces going different ways quite effectively removes the front diff housing, I have seen this happen a couple of times
  17. Hellies is the way real men do donuts
  18. According to the motec datalogging, front diff damage was always done under brakes because the 4WD hadn't let go quick enough Moral is, if doing hellies, don't stop
  19. $1 or $1k ? I got my 275/35/19s for $999 and a mate fitted and balanced for $0
  20. My guess what you will need in Eiback will be P/N 1000:250:0xxx, fill in Xs with the poundage you need Those numbers are 1000=10" length :250=2.5" diameter : rate in pounds
  21. Still have to do transfer cas........ Get car back, lol
  22. They will be a 2 1/2" or 65mm spring, industry standard I can get Eibach springs of any rate, I just changed the ones on my Nismo R tune coil overs Measure inside and outside diameter and lenght of the spring
